You are seeking popularity, so for you it is in your interest to be visible (/show off your e-sport paint). The proposal is not to hide all of them, but to have the choice to do so or not.

What I said was related to Ms-Luv's comment that her suggestion is not related to hiding supplies used, which to me it seemed like it was. 

 

As an aside, my interest in keeping the profile is not limited to showing off my paints, it's about seeing others' garages, which is very interesting to me.

I guess some like having the option meanwhile others are against this idea so they can know and see what weapons the individual player uses, his/her play style, tactics, etc etc so it will be easier for them to encounter and play against that/those players. Quite interesting idea.

I would like this to happen very much, I'm rather ashamed over how many drugs I used in the past few months, I've always been a no-drugs person but I had to use a lot recently, and it's rather embarrassing now.

I'm interested in player stats and profile as well. It is a source of information, that many clan needs to set up a team, check a candidate or analyses an opponent. It can also be used to compare your garage against other to see where you stand.

But some do not need to share their stats, especially if it a source of hurdles. Having the option to hide will make the life of the later better.

          Yes I am [Noob] Noob and is true but this does not changes my opinion. Anyway, members in clan are old friends and for any of us ranking on high dl is not an issue so no really big deal my clan, no matter how many records we hold.  :lol:

           You really do not get it. This topic is not about how much each one of us is using drugs and is not about hiding drugs. In my clan I have non druggers to heavy druggers and I do not see any issue with is and I do not care what others thinks about being drugger. Actually, being a heavy drugger, is being cried out loud by others just because using high amount of drugs means spending real money on this game. Being drugger or non drugger has nothing to do with skills. This is a game and it is made for fun and relax first of all. People forgot about this already. Spending real money on this game is not liked by poor and jealous, by envy, by scammers, spammers, flooders, diggers and so on. In almost all situations buyers are way more responsible in the game than the others. I really had enough and I'm sick and tired of being judged for being a buyer or a drugger. I will go on buy as much as I will like  and honestly I look forward to that day when this game will be pay to play so that everyone pays a fee to access the game (as any other respectable game in this world) so that all this crap about bad buyers is gone forever. In real life I am a game designer and no, I would not give my work for free. Almost anyone has a 5 Euro a month for one of the fav games. Now, back to the topic, read all over again and again until you understand. It is about Users Privacy most of all (which is way more than just hiding drugs as you can think at your best) and it can have different moral, legal implications as well, if we need to take the discussion to different levels, but I start to wonder if this is the right place to do so.           I think the "druggers exposed" era is pretty obsolete already. Also I think each one of us should have the right to their own privacy as well as participating in general displayed game stats should be a personal players choice. Please insert option to hide or display link to own public profile. This can be done without impacting any general stats.

as if anyone would bother to look at their profiles and criticize them had they not so arrogantly claimed some world record with their profiles. don't like people judging you then don't make yourself noticed. drugs/shaft helped them get that k/d and that's the truth. 

 

i have friends who have broken world records but they don't get people judging them for buying/druging to do it, why? because they didn't announce that they're a world record holder. you set a record that shows that you're better than everyone else in at least one aspect then of course you have to be prepared for being judged.

What you cannot see, is the roots, but if you can't see it, it does not mean that not existing. My point is, if you cannot see a problem here, it does not mean it does not exist. I have 2 clans, players in my [Noob]  clan are exceptional players, each one of them playing unique styles,  and I myself rank with a Viking and Hornet and Rail, but I bet you do not know the difference between a Hornet/Vik and a Titan/Mammoth on a long term. If it is easy to rank on a long term non drugs or drugs or whatever you like, just go out there and play. So many players started their accounts just to be able to make it to my clan but they failed lol. We have thousands of new join requests from random players every new weeks. I feel so pity to see once again, pure jealousy screaming out of you and making you so blind that you cannot see the difference between rankinig with a Hornet/Viking to a Titan/Mammoth as well as non supplies or moderate supplies players in my clan. So I won't waste any time to reply to you anymore again no matter what, I will be busy breaking and claiming arrogant records lol.

Dear Tankers and Administrators,

 

Please try to understand, as in the game viewing one another’s profile is what makes sense to make ones better playing style and ambitions in this TankiOnline gaming career or try to unlock certain achievements.

 

The option of hiding a profile can be introduced at some cost, those who wants to enable hide the profile to be hidden cannot play anymore. Once hidden enabled, it should take a week time to go off from the visibility, because some players will use this option to hide their profile while not playing every hour this may cause added server problems in the ratings section.

 

But viewing a player’s profile really helps to plan some sort of strategy and use of modules and ability to understand the opponents plus and minus.

 

Lastly, the creator of this topic has said that he has been insulted due to his garage. When insults are the matter that provoke players, they must adopt the strategy of ignoring such provoking messages and focus on what fun they wanted to achieve in the game. Those who provoke other players based on their ability to play will get their pay when chat moderators are available. May be Administrators can advise Chat moderators to take severe action on players while insulting other players based on their ability and garages.

Let me tell you, if I was a developer and in any position to change the game here, this is what I would do:

 

Make the option to hide the profile cost 15$ of real money.

 

Bingo. Bam. Done.

 

You've introduced a new feature that doesn't give any gameplay advantage, for money.  That's an example of good game economics.  

You could also introduce a feature for players to write personal messages on their profile/ratings page.  Again for money, or a very large amount of crystals (300k).

 

Sadly I am not in any position to alter the course of the game here, or even give common-sense suggestions.

I think there should be an option in which a player has the right to hide their ratings if they want to. By ratings I mean a page like this --> http://ratings.tankionline.com/en/user/golden5648/

 

ps - i don't really wanna hide mine but I think it should still be done, anyways if this can't be done it's okay with me

Sidlob isn't just a regular player, Sidlob helped Tanki Online a lot in legal issues and because of that, this player was given 50% protection against everything.

Ability to hide profile

 

Tankers should have an option to hide their profile completely or hide certain features of it, from the public.
I'm sure many tankers (including me) have parts of their profile they don't want anyone else seeing. In the ratings, there should be a button saying "hide profile" that, when clicked, hides all your info from the public.
Don't think it's that big of a problem? Let's use me as an example.
Look at my K/D. Do you think I want anyone else seeing that? No. It can be a big problem. Tankers could be cyberbullied, called noob, and embarrassed if a part of their profile that is below average is seen.
