you can't imagine long life of a pc without a good anti virus program.. :)

Avast doesn't work too well with Windows 10, though. It caused problems with the start menu, which is why I had to uninstall it.

I once permanently shut down an old junk computer..... ;)

I used the following code: shutdown -s -t 00 -c "Permanent Shutdown" :D

(Don't try it, it will delete you computer's NTFS file, and you won't be able to turn it back on) :o

Actually that command will just shutdown your computer in 00 seconds and shows "Permanent Shutdown" in a pop up message (but that will not display because your PC will be shutdown instantly because the time you mentioned is 00 seconds).

 

I also used to create such commands and replace them with Firefox, or Documents' icon in the lab as a prank. Good days! :)

 

That command will be abort with shutdown -a

I know you would have made .bat or.exe file. It doesn't matter. The point is that command didn't effect your PC, maybe it died due to some other reason. RIP :)
