Question about kit prices

Why do I have to pay full price for a kit even if I already have one of the items? For example the Boreas kit - it is still listed as 358,320 crystals even though I already have freeze m3.

Kits are already at a discounted price and the items contained in them are not available at your current rank, so you already have a huge advantage over other users that will not buy such kits and that is why, if you already own an item inside a kit, the kit's price will not be reduced even more.
