So far this NBA Season:

1) The Warriors have dominated on offense AND defense

2) The Spurs are having an incredible season yet are still the underdogs

3) The 76ers suck again (for like the 10th year in a row)

4) LeBron has been appointed President, GM, coach, starting PG/SG/C/SF/PF of the Cavaliers (basically he owns the team)

5) Kobe announced his retirement yet has nothing to show as he's leaving

6) The East sucks again

7) The Thunder are the underdogs because of the Spurs and Warriors

What we're missing from the past few years:

1) 76ers trading the star of their team (if there is one) for a few dollars and a draft pick that won't give them a future

2) The Memphis Grizzlies

3) A pathetic team/player name change (Ron Artest -> Metta World Peace, Hornets -> Pelicans, Bobcats -> Hornets...)

4) A cringe-worthy injury in which a player's bone seems to pop out of their body and give them a season-ending injury

Basically that sums up the NBA season in 11 facts.

We arent missing the Grizzlies, they are the 5th sead this year. Last year they were the 5th, and before that they were 7th and 5th. We are missing the Rockets. They are 9th right now while last year they were 2nd, and before that 4th and 8th. Also we did have a pathetic uniform/logo change with the clippers

Kobe's got nothing to show? He is scoring a lot of points and many rebounds on this season, during the start he was a bit of the road, but he's got his old self now. :)

no, season points per game is 16.9 and rebounds is 4.2 per game. thats not alot, and that not even close to the old kobe. Now in february, hes had a good month, but in january his numbers were both below those season averages.

what?

Im a Lakers fan and what gets me mad is people only like the warriors because they are good but when they suck they dont like the anymore

there is a term for fans who only like winning teams, and then when the team sucks, they stop liking them. That is called bandwagon fans. There were not this many warrior fans a few years ago, just like there werent this many heat fans 6 years ago or this many thunder fans 6 years ago. I hate to break it to you, but most lakers fans are bandwagon fans also

Zach Randolph became the 3rd oldest player to record a triple double

2015-16: Matt Barnes, 36 years, 2 days

1995-96: Dennis Rodman, 34 years, 248 days

Tonight: Zach Randolph, 34 years, 247 days

Golden State and San Antonio combined have fewer losses (16) than the next best team (Cleveland, 19)

The last time the Warriors won in San Antonio, Popovich had 9 career wins and Duncan was still in college
