Review of Product Kits-m2

Recommended Posts

I will be reviewing all m2 product kits in this guide. There will be one posted every now and then, normally fortnightly. Each kit will be given a fair review. Remember, these are my opinions. Criticism is always welcome. Kits with 1 m2 item are considered m2 kits.

Fortress Kit

An excellent kit. Thunder m2 is one of the best m2 guns out there. It's stats are really great, and they're pretty close to the m3 stats. Mammoth m2 has a ton of HP, and especially if you buy this kit at around Second Lieutenant, it will have 2-3 times more hp than the enemies you will face. Rustle too, is an excellent paint. It has exceptional thunder protection, and it gives you protection against both freeze and isida, which besides being dangerous close range weapons, are also cheap and are pretty common at m2. This paint will eliminate all worries as a camper when a wasp gets close to you sorting a freeze. Simply grab a double damage and blast the be-jabbers outta him.

This kit is perfect for Polygon DM and CP. Simply stand afar, taking down enemy after enemy with your deadly shots. And if you need to do some close range fighting or capture the point, Rustle's good protection and Mammoth's immense health will tank a whole lot of damage. Fortress works well in all medium and small maps. From Island to Serpuhov. You may have problems with maps larger than this, but simply get a fast hull and your all set.

Fortress allows the user to be either a hardcore camper, a defender or a great mid-fielder. And in smaller maps, it can attack enemies too. In defense, simply find a good place a little distance away from your flag and shoot enemies as they come in. As a midfielder, roam around blasting enemies to smithereens and allow your Mammoth to absorb damage from long range guns and out of reach enemies. When attacking grab a speed boost to get there. Then, position yourself in the enemy base and shoot them form cover. Practice spawn killing. You would have made a good 10-20 kills before you die. Plus, you will help your team a lot, as the enemies will be in no position to defend or attack. Get a pocket isida for yourself, a few drugs and you're all set.

Overall, Fortress is a fantastic kit that is well worth the crystals spent. Unlike the other kits, it comes with a good helpful paint that can last till the m3 ranks. Rustle, fully micro upgraded takes up to 50% of each thunder shot, the same as Emerald. And it has good close range protections as well. I personally suggest this kit to anyone who has trouble choosing one. It will last till the m3 ranks, when the better m3 kits start getting unlocked.

This kit is nothing but a pile of worthless garbage. It is complete trash, why would anyone even think of buying such an icky kit? No, spend your crystals helping humanity. The Needy LaserShark Foundation will ensure every donated crystal will be received by a LaserShark in need. Sleep better at night, knowing you have donated to a worthy cause. Surely this is a far better purchase than some old kit.

Oki, so having bought this kit i could aswell tell you what i thik of it.

- If you call a combo effective, or good, it means that the combo can do it's jobs well, often combos that have the minimum amount of competition on their respective role like every isida combo ever, or twins and rico combos in many maps are described as good or efficient, shafters call shaft the most efficient weapon, because it barely has competition on the maps they play on. Competition between combos can also be eliminated by factures like protective paints, certain type of enemy team or the unlocking rank of the combo. Fortress compeeds among the heavy support fire combos, and the pure drug domination combos with tanks like vulcan/mammoth and smoky/titan. It also has the bad habit of copeeting with itself in the form of Bulldozer.

Let's talk about the role of fortress, what is it actually good for?

You obviously want to stay alive as long as possible, getting in a good spot with mammoth can be a pain, and you want to go through that as rarely as possible. On the other hand you are supposed to deal mass damage to large groups of enemies to stay effective... finding the happy medium between focusing on staying alive, and still trying to have intense damage at groups of enemies is difficult. You will really need isida, mines, drugs or good strategical thinking.

Let's compare to Atlas, which is often used on the same roles:

Titan is faster, it handles any cituation that come to hull contact much better than mammoth. With titan you can die more often, still not using that much time to get in preferable potitions. You can also get in cover eayer.

You barely ever waste as much damage with smoky as you do with thunder, if you use your crits correctly you can give every enemy exactly as much damage as they deserve. Smoky can eliminate enemies that threathen it's life with ease, you can land thunder powered crits on players that you only get in short contact with and deal massive amounts of normal damage with large impact force on more outgoing enemies. Knocking off enemies aim, messing up their driving, flipping them and so on... smoky is overall easyer to survive in many cituatins with.

Mammoth makes up for the speed and the overall poorer handling with its extra health complimented by DA and a good paint. However it's arguable if rustle is as good of a paint for a heavy hull as loam. Usually more small protections is better for a heavy hull than a few large ones. Thunder has a small advantage on smoky at it's range, and splash damage will make it more ideal on maps like camp or poly. Thunder on DD is a beast, with smoky you could take equal enemies out quicker, but it certainly can't eliminate the whole exchange of fire like a drugger thunder playing against peasents can. For this ability many call thunder a "domination weapon". Meaning that instead of topping a faceoff with enemy it can erase the whole faceoff with a single shot. This however will only turn against you when the enemy is also on drugs, or happens to have thunder protection. For this thunder is good at keeping the enemies at their knees.

I wouldn't use this as a basic defender combo, maybe in maps like kungur or monte, where the flag is on a large opening, but on maps with smaller open areas around the flag i would cope with a twins, smoky or vulcan, that deal high impact force and damge, have no self damage and sport a short reloading time. Thunder on anything is a good DM combo, huge damage and the splash damage will make you able to often steal both kills from 2 others fighting. It's also easier to killsteal with than smoky, but for the slower firing rate has less potential.

So after all that rambling im going to tell you why would you want to go for this kit.

1. If you are at its 1st unlocking rank it will be the only that powerful heavy midfielder around.

2. If you drug it will definetly be a satisfying drug combo.

3. If the items in the kit compliment your garage very well

And now why not to buy it.

1. If you are on ranks, where other combos like fortress are roaming around, you propably want to go for them instead.(bulldozer and Atlas)

2. If you don't drug you are not going to like it that much, you will either only use it on maps like camp, zone or combe, or keep dying trying to get to good locations.

3. If you have something similar this won't propably top it.

From a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being buffalo, and 10 being prometheus) describing the usefullness of it, i would give it a light 6.
