[Issue 46] Results: Holiday MapMaking

Welcome to the new year! I hope it is treating you well so far. Its about to get much better for the winners of our Holiday MapMaking special, where participants took a shot at making a new years themed map. The amount of participants was slightly better this time, but I plan (cant guarantee) on cracking out a few guides before starting another contest like this. So if you're interested in the following maps, stay tuned and share your thoughts about map making! Lets see what they came up with this time...

 

 

First place - Evergreen - 30,000 crystals to happy_creepers_42

Second place - Snowflake - 15,000 crystals to returning champ NOT-Insane

Third place - Valdez - 10,000 crystals to Royalworld

 

Consolidation:

Crater - 7,500 crystals to LazerShark

Noel - 5,000 crystals to eragon33

Kingdom - 2,500 crystals to Hell-Hell

I only like Hell-Hell and Evergreen's maps.  ^_^

 

 

Edit: Oh yes, and the guides would be VERY welcome. I wasted most of my time in figuring what stuff meant.. and it was a hard task to test the map (I submitted without testing...).

hell-hell's map is nice

Eragon and Hell-Hell's map would have the best gameplay.

The others are really nicely designed too; but quite big, makes all of them awesome Shaft maps though.

 

I can definitely see that NOT-Insane spent some time in making his world... that design looks epic.
