Addition of New Emoticons (Forum)

Our forum is a place of conversations, discussions, debates and fun. What's a fun place on the internet without emoticons? Our forum has only 22 emotes .. and that's quite less. Most chat-boxes and forums have a greater variety of emoticons for users to use.

 

Adding emoticons in IP Board Forums (like the one Tanki has) is pretty easy. You just have to resize the image of the emoticon to the correct size and upload it to the forum database. :P

 

Yup, nothing more than that. I've been admin on a similar forum and done this.

 

 

Why?

Most of you will find this suggestion to be unnecessary. But we need these kinds of things for the forum. The current set of emoticons (IMO) is very basic. It won't do any harm anyway? ;)

Well it isn't a thing to really be arguing about if you want to use these text-based ones then simple add the nose,don't like then use the emoticons in this forum.

The tanki devs are too busy dealing with the game to deal with small stuff in the forum. They simply cannot keep up with the new emoji since they are so busy.

Adding new emoji would require max 1 hour. Even I can do it if they tell me. xD

The problem is people over use them.  They actually removed 2 for that very reason. I come to read things, not look at 15 emotes in a row just because some dope thinks it's cool.

 

The devs need to focus on fixing all the major problems with this game NOT worry about emoticons.
