option for turning GB drop OFF in PRO battles

can you please find a reason to reject this topic and close it? The majority of the people have spoken against this. Why should it remain open?

It's a good idea. Many players are really competitive and expect their teammates to be fully focused on winning the battle, means that any distractions like the gold box should be removed. Also, from experience I can tell you that golds can cause a lot of conflicts when you play in a closed battle with friends, so some people (like my club in RU forum) would love to be able to turn it off again like you could with the crystal boxes option.

 

Hazel gave a really lame excuse for this, saying that the only reason it hasn't been added is because there is no space in the PRO battle creation menu.

scr*w gold box I already know I wont get it. If u are in a team battle cap all the points while everyone is try to catch the GB or cap a few flags. If its a tdm put on firebird and run to the pile with DD and Rekt

there were times here when option I mentioned in topic tittle existed..good times they were..no noobs on dictators (mostly) being AFK waiting for GB alarm..intense battles,real battles..now at the first alarm,goodbye point (CP),goodbye flag defending (CTF)..all team battles are more ruined day by day..so,we ONLY need an OPTION..players can have real battles,noobs can collect gold boxes..

I do agree partially, it's annoying when players rage quit right after gold. So basically even if ur team is winning half the players rage quit right after gold and then the enemy team wins and majority fund goes to them.

Damn it!! Tanki isn't all about crystals and gold boxes. Ik many players who don't dare to enter RU1 since they can't play with rail or can't play without drugs. There should be an option to turn off GB in pro battles which will increase the fund faster. If u think u are pro at taking golds then try taking them in no drugs XP battles.

Meh... Taking golds in XP battles is mostly pure luck. It's just a matter of whether enemies decide to shoot you or your teammates from under the gold.

Like I've said at least 3 times already, we don't need it because you don't even have to take it, okay? This is a useless feature that no one will use. I've also pointed out how gold is not a big problem. Mults? Go report them or /vote them in-battle. Done. Is there still a "lack of arguments"? So far, I've presented 2 points compared to your 1 point about option, option, and option. Why would this be considered an "option" if no one is going to use it? It would just clutter the game code even more and take up space that could have been used for something else that would be useful.

The players that don't want it are still in the minority, You are taking my statement quite literally; I did not mean literally no one would join, I meant if there were players that joined, there wouldn't be enough to raise the battle fund to a decent amount for you to earn a decent amount of crystals.

and the same thing again and again..earlier u asked me to "bring people on forum" (those I in one way represent,those who would actually love to see that feature BACK in the game AGAIN..people,most people (90%+) who play this game DON'T CARE about forum,and here's why,ermm..because,in the most cases,ideas and suggestions made by players who are veterans here are rejected..although they would improve game (not all ofc,but at least half of them)..second,people are here to play,grown people like me have JOB,FAMILY,etc..so they only spend their time PLAYING..third..not all people in this game can actually write or speak english..u just have to take my word for it..battles with this feature (cry drops off) were MORE COMMON then with cry drops ON..if u don't beleive me,u can allways ask game staff here,I met quite few of them in PRO battles..

Surely if there are as many people as you say there are, that are in favor of this option, there's got to be at least 10 of them or so who know fluent English that would speak up here. But despite that, the players supporting this are still in the minority in this topic and devs cannot determine from every battle whether or not players want this. If they wanted to find out, they would check the topic on the forum and if the users supporting it are in the minority, then it is simple. It will not be added. They will not tell moderators to go to every battle and take surveys everywhere.
