time zones for contests

i have noticed for the last few contest and beyond that Canadians are teamed up with the British time zones which is wrong due to when i get on at 6:30 am its like about 11:30 am so why should we be on there zone..when we are 5 hours behind..its not just us but others as well everyone has different time zones ..even if we speak English why ..other country's also speak the same but there on different zones and grouped with other country's who are earlier then them or later

 

example :

so what is happening is when players in England send in there game results there ahead of us and we never get a chance to get better in the standings and this go's also for other  time zones  ..there later in some areas and ahead in others

 

basically this contest and all for entering secret words into it have been fixed..for example players in Australia will be first to win next to the closest time zones and hence there down the line..till the day ends..

 

this contest and all others should be removed from the system ..so the contests can be fair to ALL players not one sided like it has been for many of years...

I'm pretty sure you got it wrong. The video with the clue becomes available for the whole world at the same time (different local times, but same actual time), so there is no advantage here. The contest opens and closes also at the same actual time. The only thing you can consider unfair is the fact that the time may be inconvenient for some players, but that's impossible to fix. Players in America and Australia are a minority, so developers chose the time to be most convenient for players in Europe, Russia and Middle East, because that's where the majority of the audience is. They can't satisfy everybody.
