We are still talking about future PMs in chats, are we? Because today people can see things like that happening all the time with current chat.

it looks like we are all not sure of what the future holds for this new program ..will need to see more of what will be coming ..for now i'm not looking forward to the new system..

I find it kinda interesting that people are ok with press, which clearly states something like "oh sorry, I didn't listen properly". Somewhat sets the tone of our modern society. Back in the day press was our eyes and ears. Now we are ok if they might not listen properly. Huge troll, just sayin.

anyway to be honest I see no problem with the private chats. If you are worried about your children getting exposed to vile words/actions etc then you might as well be worried about the millions of other ways your children can get exposed via other applications... like facebook and skype for instance.

it's more educative to actually teach them why something is wrong, and how to avoid it.. instead of putting a wall behind a problem they will anyway  have to face one way or another in their lives.

It does not matter, now you're just an observer of parenthood. What parenting means, knows only those who have children. We all have an opinion about something, but until we do not live through that we can not know for sure.

 

Internal feelings of joy, love, concerns, fears, etc. that were unknown until then, and only parents feel all within themselves. Observing something (or only to have an opinion) and living something everyday are two completely different things.

I apologize for the lack of responsibility I have shown as a member of the Press. I have failed you. I have failed Tanki. I have failed myself. I know I have a big duty on myself right now, and I cannot possibly put all my shame into words. Just - I have let a lapse of concentration get in the way of my duty.

 

Therefore, I'd like you to tell me how many days you're planning to suspend me for. I feel I have cheated the people by not listening to your voice properly. My only dream was to become a reporter, but this serious lapse has caused my career to be undone.

there is no need for you to be depressed over this issue there has been a number of mods who have been worried over how to deal with issues and i have been seeing people miss understand even me at times when its strait forward we are each different in our own way this is how we were created to have our own judgements and  opinions..not everyone can see black and white ,,some read between the lines and others well it takes time to get to the direct point ...never worry about about the past you said your peace is  in the past and they should be man about it and let things go ..mistakes happen ..we are only human...not one thinks a like,,

you might think we parents are over protective ..until you walk in our shoe's then u will understand ..

 

as a full time parent i protect my kids and worry just like any other PARENT ..its our children who we gave life too..we are the ones who by law have to be responsible for there actions  and WE as Parents will worry till our die ing breath.. you ask any parent if they worry about there child and i will  tell you........ WE DO !!!!   we LOVE them ...

 

 

my kids ages are.... oldest is soon to be 22 ..middle child is 19 and youngest is 13 ...and most players know i'm 53

Still kmpa has a valid point.. too much of protection fails the target as well -> which is to raise childreen in a way that they survive and become a compentent grown up.

 

Often parents focus too much on the "survive" part and don't let kids grow into the "competence" part.

In my country there is a saying like "one day, you have to let them have the knife, and teach them how to use it" (ment for food preperation purposes :P)

 

Even if kmpa is not a parent by himself, he is the other side of the game: the child. At least he was one for a long while. And his mind is not yes "blured" with too much love and too much protectionism.

 

Truth is somewhere between you both..

i too was a child way back when and yes i do see your point letting the child grow in there own shoe's ..we still will be there in the good times and bad to lean on or to get financial support this is and will be part of parenting...

 

now for the topic how safe it is out there on the internet i can say as a parent this would be a good topic for all to voice on due to the fact you can get lots of  different  sided points of views ..

 

i was not a parent until i turned 31 i was a late mom which i wanted it too be so i can enjoy life as a young lady..then get married and raise my family..
