Recruiting new players

Today i was in Belfast where i live and was out shopping and had some lunch

We have a large apple store here so i decided to give it a visit

it was fairly busy with a fairly large crowd of people in it

i found some space and tried out a macbook pro

so obviously i logged on to my tanki account just to have a quick game

i entered a polygon dm and started playing away

i got a bit engrossed in the game and did not realise i had the sound turned up so much

so their i was firing away with my smoky and i suddenly realised i had a bit of an audience watching me

i finished the game and a few people began asking what it was i was playing

i told them it was called tanki online and it was a free to play game

a few seemed very interested in it and i showed them various things about the game and showed them my garage

and explained the various weapons and hulls and how you got better weapons as you ranked up

and how the game worked basically

so hopefully i would say tanki might have a few new recruits

 

has anything like this happened to you?

I recruited about 10 people from my work place,

 

instead of working I just normally do half day working half day playing tanki :

 

And most people at work now play tanki because I showed them it :)

There is actually something in tanki that you can get crystals for recruiting new players. Just look it up or ask a chat mod

I recently went to North Carolina over the summer, and found an Apple store, and tried Tanki out, and it worked great. 

 

 

Oh, and yes, so far the people I've recruited are: my cousins :P.

lol i invited all my class to play TO 7 of them joined but 5 later exited as thye thought that this game has too much lags fps issues and etc + the game at lower ranks is not that fun too but 2 of my friends are playing tanki regulerly but no is my refferal as i invited them through my mouth not through email or reffferal email tanki gives to a player ;)

I was recruited by my nephew back in August of last year. He liked the fact that I couldn't maneuver very well or aim straight so he would join the opposite team and hunt me down.

There should be a little box with a Smoky-Wasp and a plus sign, it'll bring you to an email and some other stuff.

You can bring in new players and get crystals for them ranking up.

But it's like inviting people to play Candy Crush, so I'd be careful about asking.

There should be a better tutorial thingy, the current 1 has managed to ruin a few of my recruiting attempts.

I haven't had an public event, usually i just ask friends if they know the game, and they ask if i mean Wot.

If they get intrested we do a couple games with noob accounts, only a few have sticked to playing.

 

1st time i saw this game was my old friends house, he was playing madness with titan and twins, it was like 2012 or something.

I tried it at home, and for some reason i got kinda hooked.

I wasn't really recruited, it just was the game for me. :P
