I see this, but may be wrong - Chat mod lacking

Recommended Posts

Hello.

Im going around servers just bored, I see lack in moderators, why not open a section for recruiting for new chat moderators? As in, not all are confident enough to step up and volunteer them self. Why not help them?  If i got this right, there are 35 servers, making it 35 moderators required, if chat moderators would work about 4 hour shift, then we'd need 110 chat moderators... Right right, some servers are densely populated so we'd say 27 moderators... At night less players play so less moderators for night shifts... If we look at night time, lets imagine your online at night time... What would you do? I'm personally going to say most players would be up for daily missions, no? So let's say way more less moderators... So about only fewer moderators at night shift...

I've counted 'around' 25 moderators (obviously for the chat) this  doesn't include ''temporary unavailable''  25 Moderators enough to cover over the EN servers but not all servers have a moderator around.... Yes yes, you can report the violators but before the violation topic gets reviewed how much violation during that period of time could the violator do? Well - enough I'd say. I think there should be moderators on pick up or we'd say chat moderators but they don't moderate they come to rescue the empty server with no moderator or when other moderator needs hand, don't lie you do see a moderator being fizzed up (nothing negative there)

Hope we'll have sensible discussion no rud-ness ''nooba u wrong'' does annoy :excl:  (Referring to who'd say that, not to like don't say it if you're a nice person) :excl:

Chat moderator applications are currently closed.

The administration is unable to take new applicants at the moment, for reasons unknown. Besides, we can't just force people to apply. Moderators are appointed only by their own incentive, so if someone is unsure or "shy" about applying, then we can't do anything about that. Also the application process is very strict, so it's hardly surprising that so few applicants get accepted. Lowering those standards a little bit can have a massive negative impact on the moderation quality.

Idea invalid. Closed.
