Can we possably see our own karma? Like to see for ourselves? Why not?

I'm pretty sure that giving players the ability to check their karma would require a whole new update, because the current system would require a lot of changes. As far as I know, checking karma is a feature for administrators only, so giving this ability to players without making everyone admin is impossible at the moment.

If you get like a warning for posting something you shouldn't have, I believe you get a warning point for that. After so many you will be banned for some time.

Even if you ask chat administrator to see your karma, they do not give such information anymore.

I want to become a Forum Mod (like yourself) and I'm going to apply for FM near the end of this year, once my ban history is all cleared up and stuff.

 

But the thing is.. in October last year, I got 1 warning points and I still only have 1 warning points.. (I'm guessing warning points stay there forever)

 

So I just want to know something.. because I have that ONE warning point, will that NOT got me accepted as a FM even if I don't get banned once from today to say... September/October of this year?

Sorry, but this is not the place to answer such questions. Making an application is something which has to be considered by yourselves, we are not giving out opinions on them nor our own opinions wheter you will be accepted or not — you must apply and see for yourselves what happen.

Sorry, but you should use the Search option to make sure a topic with the content you want to post wasn't created before.

 

 In the past, users could request to view their own karma, but this is not done anymore due to many possible ways of abusing such information:

• If users were able to view their karma, they would commit violations in a strategical way, trying to avoid harsher punishments depending on their ban-history
• If users were able to view their karma, those famous trolls and jokers out there would spread their karma as if it was a trophy, but it is indeed not
• Karma contains many fundamental informations regarding an account and, some of them, are fundamental to recover an account in case it is stolen — showing such informations, even to the account owner, could lead to them being spread and, in case of a recover-request, anyone knowing those info could claim to be the real owner of the account and steal it DEFINITIVELY

In conclusion, ban-history (karma) will not be disclosed anymore. If you want further clarifications, please contact Chat Admins.
