No, I don't believe in ghosts and without clear and scientific proof, nothing could convince me otherwise. 

I do believe that the human psychology can play tricks on the mind- especially since we are built to always be on the lookout for human-like shapes and faces. Because of this, if you are alone, you may believe you are seeing figures and shadows on the outskirts of your vision, and even develop a sense of "being watched" and unease. 

 

I have had some strange experiences- doors opening and shutting repeatedly at night, as well as hearing unexplainable sounds and voices (usually when when I am sick). However, there is no "evidence" that comes even remotely close to proving that ghosts exist, and the existence of ghosts would go against all logic. I don't believe in them.

Ghosts that rattle chains and make noises?  No.

Ghosts that move objects around?  No.

Ghosts that go around scaring people?  No.

Ghosts that haunt houses, buildings, graveyards, or other places?  No.

I do believe in life after death, but that those who have passed away are separated into their own state of being or dimension that doesn't interact with our own among the living.

 

I also believe that on very rare occasions those who are alive may have some kind of contact with loved ones who have passed away to receive comfort knowing their loved ones who have died are okay and happy.

an alien simply means another life form, monsters mean the same thing just humans were scared of them. I really like mythology, and just by looking at it you can tell how it is the trust... just twisted. For example; anyone heard of a narwhal... think about that... now think of the myths told be the mages of pre-agricultural time who speak of unicorns that burst out of the sea sent by Poseidon - the sea god - supposedly to punish those who gave no sacrifice....

Or the Exocoetidae, the birds of the sea... you get the idea.
