But we saw Ind vs aus semi-final .. we got down the bus .. fastly ran to the nearby tea- shop .. only to see after that india was losing

Which site are you guys using to watch the match ? I'm using crictime, but it lags.

Smartcric is good. I can see it from my normal TV though, Ano and Kyle knows what I mean, it comes on a regular basic channel for us. I also have an Indian set top box that allows me to see Start Sports HD.

Imagine trying to categorise Yuvi's bowling style; left arm orthodox/medium straight crap that doesn't spin at all. That's how I'd define it.

I reckon we lost due to horrible selections; Tye and Hastings. NEITHER got a match or over to play, wth? They're such good bowlers, Tye has 9 different slower balls and no one knows how to play him bc he's new, even Kohli struggled against him is Australia. Kohli couldn't get under his slower balls, he was the only one who Kohli struggled to play, giving him a slight psychological edge. Think about it, replace Coulter-Nile with Tye and replace Faulkner for Hastings and BAM - we'd have won. Because Hastings would bat at Faulkners position, Faulkner could barely keep a 100 strike rate whilst Hastings thrives off pace, he'd have slogged us to a win probably, those few runs would've mattered. Kohli isn't familiar with neither Hastings nor Tye, imagine they bowled at the death, replacing Coulter-Nile & Faulkner's horrible 2.1 overs between them. And selections lost Aussies the match. Also, we shouldn't have caught Yuvraj Singh, great catch but they should've kept him in. Special mentions must go to Nevill - batted like a legend in those 2 balls he faced, those 2 balls were Faulkner's full total. You can't make a run-a-ball 10 in those crucial overs, horrible batting. It all boils to those moments and selections. Edited by Marc

Don't worry, I'm disappointed that we lost too. But why are you complaining to Bangladesh rather than Australia?

Don't worry, he's my friend (irl) and Co-Leader. In our PM he said that Coulter-Nile and Faulkner bowled horribly, which led to our defeat.

Let's admit Faulkner is a better death bowler than Hastings, with his slower balls, cutters, and yorkers, he's like the Bumrah of India. Also, his form is currently dipping, but that's no reason to kick him off the team, everyone knows what he can do in his heyday.

But the way Khawaja batted, tho, I thought Australia had a comfortable 200+ score :O Credit to Nehra for removing him.

As for the second innings, it's history :P

Yes, Faulkner is a good death bowler and he did bowl brilliantly against Pakistan but this is India, not Pakistan, India has faced Faulkner so much now, they know his game and his leg cutter out the back of the hand can be read easily (trust me, Daniel and I like to use the leg cutter a lot against each other but we've seen it so much that we can always pick it). Tye and Hastings haven't played India often, India doesn't know how they bowl. Remember how Kohli couldn't play Tye? Also, you actually haven't seen Hastings in his heyday, he's superb at the death. In the BBL, you should've seen his spell with Boland, in their 4 overs, they hit the yorker 24/24 times, it was fantastic, Darren Sammy couldn't touch them. Hastings doesn't have slower balls that are as good as Faulkner but he hits his yorkers and his yorkers are really good. Ano would know the spell I'm taking about. And yeah, Nehra is my favourite Indian bowler atm because he's really good, his yorkers are great. Khwaja batted well, yes.
