As a wicket keeper, I'm gonna hate this.

Umpires in my grade call anything near 50% (we play 75%) wide, are basically deaf when it comes to catches behind the wicket and think that the crease is about 5 meters away from the stumps...

Senior's umpires don't enjoy giving LBW's I think. I had one of the openers caught about 5 times plumb in 4 overs but it wasn't given. He went on to make about 60 to win the match.

We'll play fairly if you guys don't purposely make the deck to suit you. You guys should've learned your lesson back in the first test when you'll intentionally set up a great track for spinners and Gaz and Sokka ripped through you guys. :P

We didn't cheat to win. He didn't even review the decision plus we lost. We won the first game fairly when you guys tried to make the pitch extra suitable for spinners so that you guys would win.

it was just a DRS rule violation, isn't something which can give a match-winning edge whatsoever :P

It can but didn't in this scenario as the Aussies didn't even end up reviewing the decision.

It is part of game mate. When Indian team go to Australia they also get green pitches suitable for fast bowlers, so stop complaining about it.

Aussie pitches are always green. Making a pitch blatantly spin like crazy on what could be considered a day 7 pitch is far different from a green top, which just makes it quicker.

monkeygate was worse

The Indians were still at fault there lol. Harbajhan swore at Symonds, didn't call him a monkey. Do you know what Harbajhan actually said?

our strength is spin so what's wrong if we make spin friendly pitch every country do that so dose AUS

Australian pitches were naturally pace friendly, we can only give it a green top to make it quicker. India physically made the pitch to turn like crazy. Do you not know how pitches work?

I don't wanna have to rant, but this message can't go unheard.

I'm quite disappointed with the behaviour of some people on here. Why on earth would you ever want to attack other countries based on their respective controversial topics?  We get it. Both sides aren't perfect. No sides are ever perfect. That doesn't give you the right to make fun of them. The forum isn't the place for this. If everyone could please quit it with the nonsense talk on here and move on to new topics (such as the third test which has recently started), that'd be great. Please. Stop. Now.

If we all behave here, then no one will need to say this ever again.

Indian pitches are naturally spin friendly, we remove green  top to make it helpful for spin. Aus physically made the pictch to turn like crazy. Do you not know how pitches work ?

Come on mate, it's all part of the rivalry. You give what you get.

P.S. I'm not talking about heated arguments, but banter. It's all good to poke fun at other countries when it is all light hearted

1. Indian pitches are spin friendly but it is EXTREMELY evident that India made the first test pitch to spin abnormally and also for it to crumble quickly - all to benefit their spinners.

2. What are you talking about? Australia doesn't make pitches for spinners smh. Australian pitches naturally have green tops but it is impossible for them to actually benefit spinners. Australia imported soil or whatever from India so that they could create small pitches to help spinners to practice for subcontinental wickets.

Actually, Australians have been rather quiet off late. Warner learnt his lesson. Note the fact that the Aussies only started sledging once Kohli instigated it. Who even cares, it's just sledging. If you ask me, it's one of the best parts of the game, just as long as it's all used as banter. Harbajhan took it way too far and actually started swearing at Symonds.

On the subject of rigging the pitch, do you think it would be a good idea to always let the away team choose whether to bowl/bat first so they can take advantage of the rigged pitch more than the opposition?
