unbelievable. India loses one game in a dud trophy and because of it the players (apparently) feel the need to knife their coach. I don't even like kumble very much but seriously, it really does look like from an outsider's perspective that the players are looking for someone to blame. to be fair, australia aren't doing much better :lol: . players want a bigger piece of the pie (money) but cricket australia won't give it to them because a) they really do want to donate to 'grassroots cricket' or b )  because the blokes down at CA like to live comfortably off the players that actually make them their money. I know some think they're getting paid a fair amount but come on, its the 2nd most popular sport in the world and yet it doesn't compare with players playing other sports...

as you can see that chelsea won Epl with coach jose mourinho and next year players had some problems with jose so chelsea players played like school boys in next season.... and the jose had to resign just after two seasons....

as you can see that chelsea won Epl with coach jose mourinho and next year players had some problems with jose so chelsea players played like school boys in next season.... and the jose had to resign just after two seasons.... 

wait you're kidding, right- do you seriously think that india lost that match on purpose? pakistan were better on the day, end of story. The Indian cricket team isn't so invincible that they can win games if they "want" to. I just think its a big overreaction to sack a coach on the back of one game, especially when that game is a champions trophy game, a bit of a non-event, in all honesty. I'm not saying India is a bad team because they're not, they've been brilliant over the past 2 years. Which is exactly why its an overreaction to sack the coach that has been a part of their success, they haven't "played like schoolboys" for a season like chelsea did in the epl. .

there is no need to sack coach after this coach by himslef  generally resign ....and players can anytime kick coach out their dressing room if coach is over strict and want to take credit of players hard work...

 

PS : whatever it is .... lets dont argue now.... but ik one thing for sure unless India wins this coming world cup ....right now i can see indians are not so intersted in watching cricket.....only a world cup win can make Indian people forget that draamatic champs trophy final...

 

so India team wins world cup or just forget the that old respect from your country's people....... thats it... bye tata see you...

Sorry mate, i just don't think they seem like the type to intentionally play badly (pakistan, maybe, but not india ;) ). though i guess a big reaction is expected when india lose to pakistan, it is the fiercest rivalry in cricket.

At least india HAS an international cricket team right now...unlike australia :P. Has anyone bought Ashes tickets yet? Because the way things are going it might be a bit one-sided... only England has a team after all. CA, if the players won't take your contracts, i'll happily play for australia (for free, as well, more money going to your precious younger generations)
