Which entries on the left, influence the entries on the right - and how?
(a minus "-" means, the parameter is not affected)

                        | normal damage | temp     | heating rate | burning damage |
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
attackers Double Power  |     *2        |     -    |     ??       |        -       |
defenders Double Armor  |     *0,5      |     -    |     ??       |      *0,5      |
defenders Health Box    |  neutralized  | set to 0 |   paused     |  neutralized   |
defenders Paint         |   reduced     |     -    |   reduced    |    reduced     |
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I figured it's probably done by the same percentage, there wouldn't really be a point to do it any other way... then again, it'd be really nice to know :P

I hope the heating rate is not affected by double Armour.. as then it would reduce the heating AND the burning damage.. which would be.. well.. _strong_ :)

I'm pretty sure the paint reduces the heating rate. Reason is, that I have the feeling that a tank protected from freeze, does take longer to "slow down". So the same logic for fire would make sense.

About DD.. I have no idea :)

I don't know if this is of any help. :P

I remember I made a post about Firebird a long time ago, so I'll share it with you. It might be helpful. If not, I at least know it's not helpful. :p

I'm sorry. There was a little misunderstanding. There's no degradation at m3.

"Firebird m1 cannot get a maximum burning damage of 30 since the damage is limited by the temperature. This temperature is changing from 0 to 1 and the burning damage is changing from 1 to 30 with linear dependence between them."

~

So I quickly made this little chart.

sEFzA0X.png

So we've got the function: y=30x (x=temperature and y=burning damage)

Let's take a look at Firebird m1 with a maximum temperature of 0.29.

y=30x0.29 so Firebird m1 has a maximum burning damage of 8.7.

The temperature limits can be found on Wiki.

I remember this post as well - thanks for the help :)

As learned from Hazel in this discussion here, the burning damage (per second) is not

   y=30*x

but it is

   y=29*x+1

   If (x==0) Then y := 0

Those functions were incorporated already.

Maybe we should make the DPS charts for Fire M0..M4.. so the players have an orriantation. But I guess the "talk about firebird" thread would be more suitable for that.

This depends on the player. If the player wants to go all out, they choose firebird. If the player is more tactical, they choose freeze.

Firebird:

- Someone who believes in brute force

- They only want to take down their opponent, even if they get destroyed in the process.

- They want an easy to use turret

- They want a powerful end modification(m2 and m3)

- They want to be devestating with double power

Freeze:

- Someone who believes that strategy is the key to victory

- Someone who tries basing their power on the target's skill.

- Someone who wants to annoy the target and make the very slow

- Someone who doesn't care what position they play in the field besides sniper

- Someone who needs to be all around in usage of supplies
