Surely been waiting for such a feature to pop up in the game!  ^_^ 

 

 

One more feature / option that could be

added to make the even better & useful!

 

Maybe add a 'in-game private' chat too; This will be able to transfer all the messages you get (while you are inside a battle), just like you would when someone writes something inside a battle. However, to 'make it stand out'; Maybe change the color of the text to a different one as it will be easy to spot the in-game messages, and the ones coming from someone who has messaged you while you were playing. It will work the exact same way as it will with the normal 'lobby-messages' but instead, you will also get messages in-game, if you're playing.  :blush:   

Exactly if we are able to send/receive messages while we are in game too, that would be awesome and the update will rock B)

There is already this feature, buy the PRO pass and select "private battle" when you wish to make such a battle.

Tomorrow, January 28, we’ll be making a major change to the way Tanki Online chats function — messages addressed to specific players will become private. This means they will only be visible to 2 people — the person sending the message, and the person receiving it.

 

The awesome news is that you won’t even need to be on the same server to exchange private messages as the system will work across the entire cluster. The only requirement is that you and the person you are talking to are both online.

 

By default, you will be able to send a private message to any tanker in the game. For those who don’t want to be bothered by players they don’t know, settings will include the option to only allow private messages from players on your friends list. Of course, you will also be able to add any tanker to your blacklist.

 

We sincerely hope this feature will make chats a better place, with private messages becoming truly private, and public chats consisting primarily of information relevant to the majority of tankers.

 

Log into the game tomorrow to check out the new private message feature!

There's a flaw in the chat! If you leave the server and re enter, your messages will be gone!

 

Talking with mod at 9:20 PM

 

Changed server cause someone invite me, battle was full so i came back at 9:21 PM

 

This a bad flaw, not only that u have to ask ppl what they said, it might be annoying and flood :/

 

Also Can't message any mods in Russian servers and it will say this:

 

Этот игрок принимает сообщения только от друзей 

 

or in English

 

This player receives messages only from friends

you should have given us instructions on this update before it came out you have players who have no clue on how it works also mods will be giving more banneds  this week for no reason when players can't understand how it works

:huh: Ok so here is my idea on this crappy topic. You can no longer protect a tanker from getting hacked. I used to save people almost everyday, now I cant. All because of this crappy update. Not only that but now one person will be asked the same question by multiple people cause there is now only one setting. So you may be like, well there is a large possibility that you can just talk in the group chat. Some people wont know who s/he is saying it to. And again your saying... Well mods can still see it all. This brings me to my last question, What if there are no mods. And what if there is a youtuber and you want to see stuff : O..., this update didn't have much thinking to make. Now its just plain dumb. :blink:
