Complaint - No reporting flood/spam

The fact that you can't report a violator that is flooding/spamming has annoyed me for a long time. We simply shouldn't have to turn off our chats because some newbie decided to be immature. It just isn't right, sometimes my friends are in the battle and I want to have a convo with them but I'm forced to turn the chat off because of the immature one.
You (the game violator mods) are meant to ban any violator, but for some reason, we can't report them? I don't want some silly answer like: "It's to common of a problem, we don't want people reporting flood 1,000 times a day." That's not a good answer at all, the only reason it's common, is because you don't deal with it. Don't be lazy, get rid of every problem.

Possible bypasses.

 

(1) The flooder can easily wait 35 seconds before reposting the same message and not get warned/banned.

(2) I think by copying and pasting a message over and over, the server messes up and won't count it as flood.

there has been a increase in players flooding way too much now and for the ones they do get they do get only 5 min i have seen more but its not good enough more time given most will either stop and just enjoy the game or will leave tanki completely and this is not what tanki wants..

 

now with this new chat program it should stop flooding ..will have to wait and see ...i know all ready my chat will be in the off position .

Yeah, a report button is something that's been needed for awhile, but whenever we bring it up, some staff member just shows up and mentions that we have no need for such foolish things, as we have a /vote feature.

exactly because a player can be reported if at least 25% of the players in a battle use the /vote and that is not helpful

Not only that, but typing in a full players nickname, for the 2% chance that the report will actually be sent, and then a .05% chance that a mod will show up, and a .00004% chance that he'll actually get banned, during the middle of a battle, is extremely cumbersome, to say the very least.
