so , let's say that a nickname "lol" already exists in the current version of TO and when the tanki x comes the owner of account "lol" doesn't reserve his nickname . does that mean that i will be then able to create such nickname in tanki x ?

There is an individual e-mail requirement for each account if you want it registered. It somewhat leads me to believe that there may be a username database in the process and that the owner of the nickname is the e-mail it is attached to. This may then be used to 'reserve' and transfer the registered usernames over to Tanki X. maybe we lose out garages but we get to keep our names. This is just my theory.

No. You enter your Nickname and they'll send the email to whatever email was linked to that account. Hence, if you don't have their email, you can't have their nickname!

If someone place your username on the special site, he / she will not steal your nickname, you will simply receive an email stating that your nickname was correctly reserved — that person simply did your job :)

After the open testing will start, unclaimed nicknames will be free to be taken!
