[Issue 1 and only] The Shark - Newspaper of Epicness

So I decided to write my own paper, not doing it again, takes too long, and I didn't even do much. In order to not flood the off-topic section like the TWG, I put it all in one big image.

 

 

I can't believe I wasted half my Saturday on this rubbish. Even got a few typos in there, oh well, I wasn't going to waste anymore time on that than I had to.

 

EDIT: Thanks to all you, I changed my mind on there never being a new one, setting the release date for the next one to Feb 28, which would make this a monthly thing. I'm not having a formal writing group, instead, anyone may write for The Shark. I will choose a number of the best, most ridiculous articles for each issue, every month, until The Shark is no more. Each writer will be credited. Simply PM me your articles to submit.

I quite like it, but instead of uploading as one big image, cut it onto smaller images and upload those and put them together, like Lhamster does, this way we can read without clicking.

Your work is pretty nice to be honest, but it's just kinda annoying (me) to see slowly everyone is doing it. Unless you can standout, then why not go ahead.

You are right, there is too much currently, I mean, half the off topic section is now nothing but "articles", which I think is kind of funny to be honest, especially since the actual reporters seem to be getting sick of it too.

I mean, look at the options.

 

TWG:

Pros: Have 4-5 good writers, publish many articles, publish somewhat consistently

Cons: Accused of plagiarism, some less-than-stellar articles, seem to be feuding with the reporters

 

NATN:

Pros: Have a good reporter

Cons: Majority of articles are short/low quality, publishing is sporadic, very few articles per issue

 

Shark:

Pros: No negative reputation, A really good writer

Cons: None yet!

 

I would love to apply, if you are willing to have me! I write stories predominately, but I will write guides/other articles too. After looking at the options I was about to go freelance until I saw this!

I actually use a combination of software, for this image, I used Krita to draw the little shark I used for the text, and Gimp for everything else.
