We need more chat mods

There have been many people breaking the rules on the main chat lately, mainly on purpose whenever a mod is not around. They sometimes tell others where there are no mods so they can break the rules also. I think we need more chat mods to counter this, if I am seeing this on multiple servers every day.

 

The least you can do is open up the applications for more chat mods. Or at least have more mods online the main chat. Reporting is annoying once you end up doing it for too much.

And I only see chat mods in popular servers while a lot of violations happen in unpopular server's

Once this same happened to me that time i changed my server and call a mod to come and look at that violation server so mod agreed and check the server that time the only mesg was coming that  Player has been banned  Reason etc

I somewhat agree to this statement. We do have chat moderators, however, it is almost impossible to have all of them at least on every server due to time zones problems. The best thing to do, is to report it in the #Forum.

It will surely be a great idea to get some chat moderators from different countries so that the chat can stay as clean as possible, at all times! ^_^

Unfortunately nothing can be done about this right now. The administration is unable to take new applicants at the moment, for reasons unknown. Also, they can't just go and recruit a bunch of players to be mods. Becoming a moderator is only on a voluntary basis, so unless someone applies, nothing can be done. Even if there are enough players wanting to become mods, there is still a limitation on how many mods each admin can supervise, so that means there will need to be a new admin appointed, which is an even more complicated process.

 

But even if there are vacant places, still the main problem is quality of moderators. The current application process if very strict to make sure only the most responsible players are given moderating rights. Lowering those standards in any way could lead to the wrong people getting appointed, resulting in a bunch of immature mods banning people for no reason. I don't know about you, but I would rather see some violations in chat, instead of being banned randomly.

 

So please just be patient. Recruiting moderators is a lot more difficult than many players think it is.
