first i go to account i open it to change email then it gives me green check ..all so far good .. then email to confirm my email goes to email link ..good so far then i open it and it confirms email // suppose to but when i open the email and go to link it to my account i get that box popping up instead of its a good email link...now i ended up having to use the same email for another account which got in with out any issues but now i cant link my other account cause of this issue so tanki needs to erase the email i put in but not confirm link to add new one ..do's this make better sense ..  :wub:

 

 

and when i go to change emails ..it keeps coming up ..email is not unique  on tanki side and i have 6 emails and only 3 are linked good with accounts my other two wont go in now

Because you haven't completed the process of linked your account to an email. I qoute from the Tanki Online Wiki:

 

Linking an account to an e-mail address

 

This function is necessary in order for your account to remain secure. It is also helpful in case of emergency situations, such as password recovery or server failure.

The same e-mail address will be used to receive all important e-mails from the game (e.g. confirmation of registration, information about updates etc.). Make sure you link an e-mail address to which you have regular access.

1. While in the game, click on Settings  in the top-right hand corner of the screen.
2. The Settings window will appear. Enter your e-mail address:

    

   

    

3. Click on Save. The following message will appear:

    

   

    

4. Check for an e-mail from Tanki Online. There will be a link to confirm your e-mail address. Open it in your browser, and the following message will appear on the screen:

    

   

    

5. Your account is now linked with your e-mail address.

 

After I click "Save" (step 3) nothing happens. No window having a message saying "we have send a confirmation letter to your email address" appears.. :huh: ??

My email does not confirm. It doesn't matter anyway. no one wants my name :D.  But hey I contact TO support if my name is stolen, they know my email address :P

Okay, hopefully this answers your question:

 

 

(1) Click Settings

(2) Click "Change password and e-mail" button (if that button isn't there, tell me)

(3) After you click that, a notification should pop up: "The letter with instructions was sent to your email address."

(4) Press "Ok" and click "Save" (not "Cancel") in the Settings.

(5) Go to the email the letter was sent to.

(6) Click the link they give you

(7) Type in your password where it says and a NEW email address.

(8) Click "Save"

(9) Go reserve your nickname with the NEW email address.

Probably because you already linked your account before. In your Settings, is there the button that says "Change password and e-mail", or the 3 bars (password, new password, email).

You can still play Tanki X without reserving a nickname. Just if you don't reserve your nickname, there's a small chance someone might take your name before you do. Don't worry, I doubt anyone will take it if you're not "super dooper famous".

That shouldn't be the problem. Can you show me a screenshot of your settings?

Hey guys, I am really having a problem.

My current tanki account is linked to a email.

when I go to the site to reserve my tanki nickname I do everything, enter my current nickname,

check im not a robot, and click "get code" then my nickname and the check next

to I am not a robot disappears, and at the bottem of the bubble where that was all at,

it says To receive the code, you need to link an email address to your account and confirm it.

What do I do???

Yes, you need to link an email to your account.

How to bind an e-mail to your account?

You must go to this special site. Enter your nickname and an e-mail will be sent to the email-address that's linked to your account. In the e-mail, you'll be given a personal code. Keep that code for yourself.

 

This will not effect Tanki Online account?

It won't effect your current account.

Nice thnks thats a good idea i think of reserving nickname but it would be graet if we get our ranks on Tank X.
