My nickname is reserved. I got my code by email in a few minutes , everything worked for me. Well done. 

I didn't need any help because it's worked from the beginning, but I like to say thank you to all the guys who gave such a help

The problem is, when I click on the link it doesn't come that your account is confirmed. It just goes to the sign in option.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

People, when you say "I know I have an email link to my account". What Tanki Online calls "a linked email", is if you confirmed that the email is yours, after you do so, instead of looking like this, it'll look like this. If your Settings doesn't look like the second link, your account isn't officially linked to an email. If you'd like to know how to officially link your account to an email, read the spoiler.

 

 

 

Linking an account to an e-mail address

 

This function is necessary in order for your account to remain secure. It is also helpful in case of emergency situations, such as password recovery or server failure.
The same e-mail address will be used to receive all important e-mails from the game (e.g. confirmation of registration, information about updates etc.). Make sure you link an e-mail address to which you have regular access.

1. While in the game, click on Settings  in the top-right hand corner of the screen.
2. The Settings window will appear. Enter your e-mail address:
   
   
    
3. Click on Save. The following message will appear:
   
   
    
4. Check for an e-mail from Tanki Online. There will be a link to confirm your e-mail address. Open it in your browser, and the following message will appear on the screen:
   
   
    
5. Your account is now linked with your e-mail address.

I noticed that, I can't figure out why. It should go to the "Change password and email" menu.

 

Finally found the answer, how can I be so stupid. Just read this topic and hopefully that answers you.

Well, it seems your email has been hacked? There are many ways of getting back a stolen email, but that's no department of Tanki. Depending on what email provider you use, there are certain instuctions somewhere to help you get it back.

You probably forgot to check "I'm not a robot". Just click the box next to the text.

Today, February 1, we have officially launched the full-scale closed beta of Tanki X… and open testing is soon to follow!

 

Additionally, we are introducing a system for reserving your nickname. This allows you to reserve your Tanki Online nickname and, once the open testing for Tanki X starts, you will be able to join it using the same username.

 

Here’s what you need to do to reserve your nickname:

• Make sure your rank is Sergeant or higher, and that you have a verified email address linked to your account
• Visit the special site for reserving nicknames
• Enter your nickname in the respective field and click on the “Get the code” button

You’ll receive an email containing a special code on the email address linked to your account. Keep it safe because you’ll need to use it during the registration in Tanki X if you want to start the game with your old nickname.

 

ATTENTION! You don’t need to enter your password or email address to get the code. If you are asked to enter anything besides your nickname, this means it is NOT the original site and you are at risk of becoming a victim of phishing. Pay attention to what you are doing and only follow the link mentioned in this post.

 

Now, enter the special site and reserve your nickname — this option will only be available till the launch of the open testing of Tanki X.

Plz Tanki this is my highesst account and i dont get to reserve, i will be very dissapointed. Plz Help me.

So I have to start over?Why didn't you guys just update the old tanki instead of forcing all of us to start over? I don't even think I am going to play  it now. My perspective on this game has completely changed. 

Well what I think is that u will actually be able to transfer your entire account. Let me explain. :P

My little brother does also play Tanki. He is excited about Tanki X, so when he saw this, he wanted to try it. His only problem was that he is banned from the chat FOREVER(because of stupid people scamming at his account and support doesn't believe it..)

So because of that, his account was denied. He does have a lower account which he barely uses, but he was like better this then nothing. So he tried to reserve its nickname. But, he was a too low rank because he needed to be at least sergeant.

 

If it was impossible to transfer the whole account, then why would the rank matter? It would get back to the start anyways.

But the rank does matter if u want to reserve the nickname, so probably they will take everything with them in the new game :)

They made a rank limit so that no-lifers won't make new accounts and abuse the system.
