Sent you a PM because it was exactly 5 minutes before the answer of the Tanki-helpdesk :lol:

I've no idea why it took so long back in december, as all e-mails were given the status: sent.

But there must've been gone wrong on my end then...

 

Anyway, you won't believe how relieved this feels, lol.

I guess the situation is taken care with, I really appreciate that you were willing to help me out Mr.Yisroel.

The reservation system is not working properly.

 

I have an email linked to my account already (has been linked for more than a year now) yet when I try to reserve the nickname for Tanki X I get an error message telling me that I must link an email to the account.

 

I doublechecked in my profile and my email is definitely still attached to my account.

 

So…how do I reserve the name?  

 

And yes I already retyped it and saved it again according to this earlier answer (below) and it still does not see that my email is linked already.

 

"Are you sure?, maybe you didn't confirm your email address yet. Go to setting, and if you are able to edit your email from the game setting, that mean you haven't confirm your email address yet.

 

Check if your setting is like this, if it has this button, If you don't have this button, and it just shows your email and able to edite your email, then this mean, you haven't confirm your email. In this case you just need re-write your email, click on SAVE, and then check your email, and  confirm by going to the link you will receive in your email account. "

I give up trying to reserve my nick for test tankX.

 

My mail is confirmed for ages.... However, I get an endless loop of ( nickname -> check not a robot -> get code -> warning, you must link e-mail address -> nickname...).

 

As almoste everything in this increasingly stupid game, this is not function correctly unless TO is punishing me for ask too many questions and being inconvenient...

Yeah... so after that you need to check your mail (Which you entered in settings) . You'll find a confirmation mail from tanki. ... follow the link!BOOM! You did it.

That confirmation and email verification process was completed more than 18 months ago. The system still doesn’t acknowledge there is a confirmed email on file. I wouldn’t be here wasting my time if this wasn’t already the case. 

 

And my attempt to re-enter and save the email does absolutely nothing. Sure the profile page acts as if it saves my email address again, but there is no new confirmation email and the Tanki X registration still claims there’s no email on file. And before you ask: 1) yes I spelled the email address correctly…the same one I had linked to the account since 2014, and 2) there’s no new confrmation email in my spam folder or any other folder. 

 

Rather than:

 

a) repeatedly making guesses about why the process might not be working (considering I am not the only one experiencing this issue), and

b) providing the same old unhelpful generic crappy links and information to a “solution" many of us have already attempted multiple times

 

perhaps the Tanki development teams responsible for security, access control and registration should look into it.  There’s a bug in the code, perhaps more than just one. Find it and fix it.

ok i have fire fox..when i had to register all mine i had 3 of them i had to make new email links for..i found out that ( and i knew about it ) if you have more then one email linked on to the accounts it wont work you have to go make each one a new one..

 

 

also if you go back in the pages mine was a mess and i figured it out on my own like most players...i know you know what your talking about ..i also had the same issues thats why im saying look into those links they wont be changing them cause its all straight forward info..not there is another post about another type of server try that one see if it works..but to me it sounds like you have more then one account linked to the email and if so tanki now has a program that only allows one email to each account ..and yea i understand i hate it too but this is how it is now..
