Tanki X — Nickname reservation issues

I am on the Sergeant rank but never the less i am not able to reserve my nick-name for Tanki X because it says i need to be rank Sergeant or higher but i am

Then alt accounts would choose all the good names, wont happen

Make sure to first type in some random email in the settings box and click "Save" the "OK". Log out of tanki by clicking the red "X" at the top right corner of the screen in game. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW YOUR PASSWORD! Then log back into tanki and retype the email u want back in the settings box. Click "Save" and "OK" again. THEN FOLLOW THE STEPS POSTED BY: Sr.I3oSS (Which is the link I gave you)

In common with a lot of other players, I have found it impossible to reserve my nickname for Tanki X.

The special site keeps asking for my email address, although this has been registered from way back.

Could I suggest that a link is posted on the game, where players can re-register their email address, and in turn, ensure that this is properly linked to the special site, so that everything is joined up.

Anybody agree with this suggestion?

I hope too, that this situation is not a prelude to what may happen when players attempt to transfer their accounts once Tanki X gets under way properly.

The special site is still requesting an email adddress, and will not allow me to register.

For all those who are confused why they cannot register due to the fact that you aren't linked to an e-mail, it's actually because you registered and linked your account via Miniclip. Many people have this problem and they are unable to know why. It can stop people from registering into some tournament where linking accounts to an E-Mail is required.  How do you know if you linked your account using Miniclip? It will look something like this: http://prntscr.com/9lofve How to fix this? Simply do the following:

 

1. Log onto tanki from www.tankionline.com

 

2. Go to settings and in the E-Mail box, type another one of your e-mail address and click on save. Next, open the settings again, and type the E-Mail you actually want to link the account to. After typing it in, click save again. It should say that an E-Mail has been sent. 

 

3. Go to your E-Mail and you should have received an email with a link that looks like this:

 

4. Copy it in notepad and select the first part:

 

And type this instead:

 

Then copy the whole link and paste it in the URL bar of your browser. It will take you to the Tanki Homepage. Simple click on Play, it will load and it should say that the E-Mail has been confirmed. 

 

 

 

I've read recent posts in the topic and for some, it does not seem to work. Just simply e-mail tanki support.

I have e-mailed Tanki Support a number of times, without getting a solution to the problem.

I have tried all the suggestions without success.

I have however, proved that my e-mail address is linked to my nickname, and registered with Tanki.

There appears to be a missing link between Tanki's database of registered players, and the database being compiled for the Special Site.

I downloaded Tanki X and when I went on, it says that an error occurred. I couldn't understand why?

May I ask where you got the download link from?

The download link for Tanki X got spread, but that does not give you access to the testing. The code we got by registrating our nickname does not give you access to the testing yet. So, if you got the download link somewhere in the internet, you can not access the testing, it is normal.

But, if you are one of the lucky 300 players that got the official invite code for the early stage of Tanki X testing, I would advice you to contact Help Desk at help@tankionline.com

This keeps occurring to all of us who have downloaded the beta. I am not completely sure what the issue is, although I have been told that the servers are offline and that is the reason for this error. 

 

It would probably be best to contact help@tankionline.com or stay tuned for further information on Tanki X, as I doubt anyone in this forum has a clear solution to your problem. 

 

May I ask where you got the download link from?

There is a download available at tankix.com if you know where to find it, and it has the same error that the OP is describing.

Thanks for the video post.

I have however, tried everything in the video quite a few times already, without success.

Tanki have e-mailed me a link by which they were able to confirm my account details.

I purchased crystals, and received an e-mail acknowledgement from Tanki.  This included my nickname, so my e-mail address and nickname are somewhere in the Tanki database.

The Special Site is not connecting with this.

Well if the fix didnt work for you tankers out there, I'm sorry. Thats the only way i have found that works. It fixed it for me. Good luck all!
