DPM turret rating. Which gun is the best?!

The arguments should be boiled down to basic facts, if someone disagrees, or feels like there is more to this feel free to go on. 

Some of them is controversial, some are too general and obvious. It's like to say everything around us consists of matter. It's too general.

Let's do some math:

3 types of maps (small, average, big)

3 types of weapons (close combat, average range, long range)

3 types of hulls (fast, medium, heavy)

4 types of game mode (ctf, dm, tdm, cp)

and we have:

3x3x3x4=108 basic situations at least u should consider. There are a lot of other significant factors you should take into account. Variety will grow in progression. All this facts skilled and experienced player should now otherwise tables and graphs won't help him. Anyway if u're intrested u can try to make something out of it. At least u're trying to explore.

 

 

 

"your chances to win on a close combat 1v1" are misleading. 

What's wrong with it. If drugging railgun or rico of shaft will engage in close combat fight against twins, vulcan, smoky, hammer they have very high chance to lose. U should know what guns are deadly in some circumstances for you, or when your gun is vicious. 

 

The: Which gun is the best on the title is a pure bitdisturber.

it was more about marketing. But now i can't change the title this feature is not comfortable.

 

 

This arguing would be much more useful if it went less for the person and more for the specific mistakes, 1 should be able to confess a mistake or 2, but a few will take advice, if it comes with insults.  :)

Arguing would be more effective if members seeked the truth. Instead most participant are just fooling around trying to refute anything because they didn't like my answers to their lazy ignorant answers, trying to recover their hurted ego.(usually highly correlates with message counter). They are sure that they are witty, they are not used to get kicked. They intuitively try to do swarm tactic, it makes them feel themselves more significant =)

Don't ingratiate yourself with him. I showed what's wrong. U should consider different points of view and boil down your own opinion, the only true way. Never take any opinion blindly only because u like it or it sounds convincing. Conviction and prooving are not equal.

You are only picking the most ideal, and not realistic things for twins. m4 rico vrs m4 twins? Rico will have the advantage- shooting range. Then you are basicllying that the rico will stay in the open waiting to reload. Everyone would just take cover right away.

Twins is able to move too. I've already described things for twins and everything else for the charts and tables in the topic and comments.

I would easily refute this. But since u've ignored most of my arguments pointed to weak spots in your reasoning in previous message i will do the same.

Don't say that's because of insults allegedly (on the opposite my words meant that u think that u're too smart to read my topic propely or google anything. Don't twist words like fcbayernmunch). When u lack of arguments it's good to have emergency plan B.

I am a helper of this game, and am held to higher standards. I cannot have people banned simply because I disagree with their point of view on something.

 

No they are simply wrong and too lazy to check anything by themselves or they follow their personal aims like to start a conflict and make fun with of it. I don't speak with such people politely.

I see. People who don't agree with you = lazy because obviously if they actually checked they'd completely agree with you. And being rude to people who disagree with you (Or you believe to be stupid) will get you nowhere.

Both of these have nothing to do with anything. I am not saying my argument is correct because I have done all these things, nor am I saying you're wrong so I'm going to have you banned. You questioned my intelligence, so I am providing evidence that I am, in fact, intelligent. And if you cannot have a civil discussion with people, then there are consequences.

U don't properly read my explanations in topic and comments or u just skip it. Treating me with a ban for being not polite and at the same time justifying inconviniet behavior and ignoring insults of other members and your own pokes. U wanted to win with cavalry charge, when it didn't work out u started to abuse your power and authority. You're not intrested in honest dicussion, so your following messages will be ignored. 

I see. Not coming round to your point of view obviously means I didn't read your incredibly persuasive argument. I saw that one about 4 quotes up. My original post in this topic was a neutral comment on a topic that interested me, and you decided to escalate it by insulting me in your reply. Therefore my response was also escalated.

My closing speed calculations are based on the scenario of the twins moving towards the Rico to get within damage range. If the Rico also moves, it gets worse for the twins as the gap closes even more slowly. Maybe ask for clarification next time, instead of just dismissing it.

Hello @Panelak1947.
This is a Community's Forum and, as you may be already aware of, it is visited by plenty of different users with their own personality and opinions — acting like you are doing is nowhere near to being mature and ready to hold an argument like this one.
 
As soon as other users started to point out mistakes or questions over your charts and calculations you started to use a condescending tone towards them, acting like you've been here for ages and they are all noobs. You called them lazy for not having read your topic carefully, but how can you be sure of so?
 
If they really read your topic carefully and found some mistakes, I highly doubt that they would be pointing them out randomly, you are just protecting yourself from other users' arguments with this excuse — to keep an argument up you must be able to accept both positive and negative criticisms and learn to accept that you may not be correct all the times.
