Why do people complain about "no kill parkour"?

Yet another rant about a minority, I'm not really complaining here as much as I'm confused.

Now if you haven't read my XP player rant, please note this applies to a small minority of the people I find in Deathmatches.

 

 

Let's begin with what I'm talking about.

Say you join a normal-looking deathmatch and get the message "no kill parkour".

Now if you're me, you equip Titan and get some free XP, but most people make the mistake of trying to argue with them.

Why would you do that!?

You have two people who clearly don't have the decency to buy a PRO battle pass to do their flips and spins.

Or in simpler terms: Free XP.

 

 

Now there will be some of you who call this "cheap" or "a jerk move", but I can tell you that the people who create these battles are the cheap ones for the following reasons:

1. There are plenty of parkour mode battles on the list. I see em' all the time.

2. THEY created the battle WITHOUT the pass, they're the ones that came into battle unequipped.

3. They can have people join their battles, if it's two of them then I doubt buying two pro battle passes would be an issue.

 

"But isn't it a bit unfair to slaughter the weak?"

This is a deathmatch. What do you think you do in one? You target the little Wasps running around with no protection.

 

"But maybe they don't know about the pass."

If they know about parkour I can guarantee they know what a PRO battle pass is.

 

Enough counter-arguing, now it's time for the ending.

 

In short, "no kill parkour" means "I am weak and unequipped for battle, kill me.".

Parkour in regular, battle modes is typical for noobs and/or kids.

 

I personally love to feast on such miserables.

 

After all, TO is primarily a competitive war game about aggression, killings and domination over the weak !

I dont care about them and usually kill them. Talking about people who parkour in noise ctf(red team) even when they know they will SD, I can just facepalm at them.

Most of the higher ranks clearly know about the parkour mode, however they purposely do it do make their team suffer or waste time until/if a gold drops, they sabotage the battles, and if reported correctly, the might be punished, but I won't bother myself in making a video when I can just join another battle in a matter of seconds :)

You see them, kill them, and don't bother arguing with them, its pointless.

The thing is, at a rank like yours Operator, people dont have a lot of crystals, and cant afford the pro pass. Or they need to save for better equipment and 5k is a big blow to their banks

I know, but that's what I'm saying, people sometimes complain about them inhabiting a deathmatch when really they should be slaughtering them mercilessly.

I try to determine (before I join a game), if there is a proper battle going on or not by the score. If there is hardly any score at least 5 minutes into a game I assume they are a group of friends parkouring or something, and I generally won't bother them - unless I wanna sneak in quickly to pick up boxes for a daily mission. :P

 

If I do inadvertently join a game and they say "No kill parkour" I will leave - UNLESS they shoot at me or are rude about it.  If they shoot at me before or during explaining what they are doing I will kill a few before I leave. :P It is very irritating when they say "No kill parkour" and then proceed to shoot!

 

If I'm already in a battle and new people join that just want to parkour, well that's too bad for them as I think they need to at least create their own games for that.

 

So in summary - I don't mind players creating non Pro Pass games for parkour or just hanging out with their friends and will happily leave the game - so long as they explain politely what they are doing and it was they who created that particular game in the first place.

You get no pts for killing. We might as well be invincible to sabotogers. The only thing that could mess you up there is game physics and have you flip so I think that there should be an unflip(this idea came from a car game I have) where everytime you flip, your car will just unflip. Also, there should be parkour modes where some parkour battles can do damage and some can't.

2. they do buy a pass, go into a parkour battle. and people like YOU are killing everyone, getting no exp or crystals and ruining everyones fun, this is the main reason for the complaint

3. people who arent generalissimo arent going to earn enough to buy battle passes when they have too, and therefore will not be able to use the pro battles.

4. youre a jerk for thinking that.

If you wanna do parkour for free, just find a bunch of friends that wanna do parkour, create a map with just enough slots for your friends, and have fun!

 

In the meantime, if I see anyone doing flips and tricks, I think "Mmmm...Free crystals!"

Oy pro battles don't just let u do parkour....and imo pro battles give u more crys then standard battles so it's well worth it to spend 5k...yeah I get the sabatours they suck but if I find one in a parkour battle I usually just ask ppl if they wanna do a private one and lots of time they do.

A few times, I acted as a security guard for my friends that were in parkour mode map. Some random tanker thought they can troll a parkour map, but then BOOM! He dies under my watch! He then tries to drug, but I have huge amount of supplies, so he still got wrecked! He then raged and left. Hahaha! That'll teach 'em! Sometimes, more people join in in helping kill the noob troll and kill him over and over! Once we have Isidas, there's no way he's getting a kill! Hahahahahaha!

 

So that's one of my suggestions, get a high-ranked friend with good equipment to watch for noobs that try to ruin your fun!

Before parkour mode in the battle creation options, I'd feel bad about killing parkour people, because sportsmanship was the only way parkour would work. However, there really isn't a reason why I shouldn't when they clearly make a open public battle that anyone can join. They could've set the limit to the amount of friends that were going to join or make it a private battle

You make a good point, Operator. Usually I join and rekt the battle as much as possible, or else try and get the concept of a Parkour Battle into their heads. They're obviously the ones making the mistake by creating a public battle, you're legit allowed to kill whoever you want :lol:

But mine is better, THEY created the battle so I can join it and play however I please.

As opposed to "We created this battle, so stop killing us".
