Semyon and VLOGs!

In case you don't already know, Semyon Kirov, our Community manager who ran the v-logs will now be moving to Moscow, meaning that he can no longer do v-logs. He is, however, still a large part of TO in the background. This topic is to express our condolences toward Semyon leaving the V-logs. 

 

He recently posted this, please read before you ask "WHY?!"

 

 

Thanks for all the kind words, I'll be missing V-LOGs too...

Just to clarify, I am not leaving them because I'm tired or anything like that. The reason is a lot simpler. I am relocating to another city, Moscow, due to family reasons. This means I'll be working with Tanki remotely. With all the tech we've got, it doesn't create any limitations, except for ONE... And that is shooting videos and recording high-quality audio.

Soo, that's it. I'll no longer be hosting V-LOGs, but I will still be writing the scripts, etc. So yeah, I will not be the face of the V-LOG, but I'll still be its brain, or rather, it's heart, whichever you prefer.

 

BYE!! WE WILL MISS YOU!

We're experience a change in the V-LOG format system.. and it is quite a subtle one. Not a big deal imo. After 70+ episodes of watching the vlogs with Semyon hosting it, it's normal to miss him after he leaves.

 

The new format isn't bad either. Looks much like a game-vlog, that's quite a standard format when it comes to dev-vlogs about their game. I'm sure you guys have seen a vlog/news blog of a different game having a similar format. Not saying that the previous format wasn't more of a game-vlog type either, just that I've seen quite a lot of game-vlogs following the same format Tanki recently adopted.

not a problem posting it / thanks ..but not all feel the same way as others .

.i like to see him back cause we see a real person not a computer voice...

and the v-log i'm not impressed with it  now ..i find it too much of a copy from others and i liked it sort of with him cause it was tanki original ..
