Unofficial Commentating for Russian matchups!

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hello Tankers!

If anybody remembers a while back I started unofficial commentary for Star Series match ups that were only broadcast in Russian. Today I would like to say even though Star Series is not returning (as far as I know) until Tanki X is released, I am reactivating my YouTube channel.

I will not be posting any NEW content (by new I mean recent events) but in the next few weeks I'll be doing the commentary for last season's Star Series finals!

In case you don't remember or haven't seen any of my videos, basically what I do is I record the videos using a recording software (Bandicam), make the video silent and add my own commentary over it.

I hope I can re-establish my channel. I do this just for fun, and I hope you all watch and enjoy my videos! Also, if anyone can help to find my old topic, I think it got deleted but if anyone can find it please tell me and put a link in a reply on this topic.

Thanks,

-tony990_Superstar

The main idea of this?

It's my commentary for match ups that are broadcast in Russian, but I do a few overwrites of English commentary too (only major events) from Starladder, even though I hear it's been discontinued I will be doing past match ups now.

whats the point of this?

Same point as last time...I take the Tanki Starladder match ups that are broadcast only in Russian, mute the audio, and put my own commentary over it. It's for fun, not like everything on Tanki has to affect everybody or else it's useless...

Good Luck with this!

Thank you!

Welcome back!

Mind showing some of your commentary videos which you made in the past? :D

Good luck ;)

Hmm good call! Thanks for the advice!

pointless..

Then why waste your time commenting?

we already have english starladder commentators but if you want to be a eSport commentator then simply apply for it :)

this is true

but tbh they haven't been doing much recently cos no decent tournaments.

the idea of doing SL commentaries now is a bit dead, especially as tony's are boring commentaries too and ill informed.  People want experts to do this.  normally our commentators are not that informed anyway but some1 your rank is far too in experienced to offer any meaningful insight.

Have fun.  Also, my mate Lank doesn't understand much the concept of having fun while doing something like this, nor does he understand that its these kind of extra-curricular activities that helps in building crucial personal skills for the future of our youth.  So please forgive his ignorance on the matter, and the fact that he still can't compute that its you and your personal thing and not something that's affiliated to anything in any official manner.

Have a nice time commenting, and please don't flame back in replies to any other posts above.  Consider it all already settled and focus on what you do best :)

I didn't mean don't do it :|

if you enjoy it continue but try and research some stuff before you do so, will make your experience more fun if you can incorporate some relevant research to your commentary.

That's actually part of what I was doing when I wanted to return to doing commentary, and now I've included statistics that make the broadcast more interesting to watch. Thanks for the advice!
