May i ask you, what these pens are? :P

The main one I used for these is a Kuretake MS-6600, and a little of the spaceship was done with a Pigma micron pen.

Im just starting out with blender, and its not easy, but could you tell me how you put those small details in? Like those small pipes on the barrel, and basically all that small stuff on the turret

The pipes started out as a circle, I used the spin tool to create those elbows, and I used Cntrl+R and Alt+S to shape the rest of them. The rest of the details were done with a lot of mesh manipulation, basically a lot of Cntrl+r, knife tool and just deleting and extruding faces.

Thanks!

Well, to start, first download Blender. Next, spend a few years making random stuff. :D

Lol, I've been using blender on-and-off (mostly off) for some time now. How long have you been using blender? I've never really understood how to make models look so professional. One thing I like in particular about your models is that most of the parts make sense and yet it looks aesthetically pleasing. A lot of 3D art in the RU forum is just greeble or TO 2.0 tanks.

I've been using Blender for probably about 8-10 years, but I started when I was around 12, so, as you can imagine, most of my stuff for the first 5 years looks like utter rubbish. I usually base most of the hull/turret off the actual tank that's in the game, so the parts make more sense when they are based off the actual tanks.

I know it's been some time since I last posted here, but not for lack of doing anything. That little creativity section header that says 'anything you post here belongs to Tanki' or something along those lines has been preventing me from posting anything too interesting. I do however have one image I would like to share.

This may look like a random unassuming blob of shapes, but this is the product of the first stages of a program I've been writing. This programs end goal is to make decent looking spacecraft images almost completely procedurally. As of yet I haven't decided whether it will remain a simple image generator or become its own game, complete with completely new enemies, every time you play.

Here's another result of the software:

These images were literally created with the single press of a button.
