Little rant about forum flooders...

I really really hate forum flooders. Especially the ones that spam everywhere "Good luck" "Good idea" "+1" "++++++" "Bad idea" "I like it" "." So useless.

 

1. "Who cares?" "No one cares" "Stop crying noob" Okay, like, if you don't care, then why are you here? If you really don't care, then don't even bother reading or posting. If you don't have anything contributive to say, don't say anything at all. With every flood post, it makes things in the forum harder to find. But you do care enough to post "I don't care"

 

2. "good idea" Ok, if you like it or think it's good, all you have to do is press the goddamn like button. It's not that hard. You don't need to post "good idea" ahem cough cough dilsharox ahem COUGH *SPLUTTER* *HAC HAC* HEMMMM 'scuse me, does anyone have a cough drop? Thanks

 

3. No one cares how many posts you have. what is 12k posts going to tell anyone about you? That you are an expert flooder? All legit and contributive posts? Hah, I doubt it. Does 12k posts make you important? Definitely not especially if they're all flood posts. Even the forum mods and Tanki helpers and even developers don't have that many posts. Does that make them not important? No, because they actually provide legit feedback in those 1-4k posts instead of 12k flood posts. FedFBI has many posts, but his posts are actually helpful and provide feedback..

 

4. This is not meant to be directed at a specific person although I think we all have someone particular in mind.

 

5. This is supposed to let others know what flood looks like and how to not flood and how to be aware of it.

It's completely useless. If you want to wish them good luck or like an idea, there's a button that says "Like this"... And because you're part of the reason why things on the forum are so hard to find. I'm searching "Good turret/hull combos" and 3/4 of the search results are tagged with all your posts which consist of "Good idea" "Good luck". You see what I mean?
