Little rant about forum flooders...

Isn't it worthless that two people said exactly what potatoe said, and he was first to say it. Why would those two post the same thing unless they were flooding?

Being a noob , may I ask why does everyone here have problems with dilsharox posting small posts?

I mean why do you even care if he is just writing good luck etc posts? What are you all like mod wannabees?

I was a flooder(wait I still am) but really you know what hurts more than folding posts? People who keep pointing that out over and over again

I'm not taking names but seriously I only see people talking about dilsha, if you think he floods then ignore the Damn post or report it because pointing out someone's post is flooding is also FLOODING

Because it's super annoying and useless and like I said, what if I'm searching on the forum, "good turret/hull combos" then 3/4 of the results showing up is dilsharox's useless posts of "good idea" "good luck"

Just look at this flood:

Why would you post the same exact thing I already said, unless you were flooding??? It also disappoints me that the mod did not check up fast enough to close it before the flooders got there, especially considering that katekizem leads a parkour club himself. Or maybe the flooders were too fast which shows the severity and antics of forum flooders, no-lifing on the forum flooding everywhere.

Calling out flooders is just telling everyone to not be like them. It's not flooding. It's teaching people how to behave on the forum.

A solution against flooders could be "time-outs".

Every time a flooder floods again, the time-outs will become longer till a certain

maximum (just a few days, not even a week) has been reached.

It works the same like a ban: but it doesn 't affect a Tankers karma, nor does it lead to warning points.

It is what it is, just a time-out.

Okay :P

2. "good idea" Ok, if you like it or think it's good, all you have to do is press the goddamn like button. It's not that hard. You don't need to post "good idea" ahem cough cough dilsharox ahem COUGH *SPLUTTER* *HAC HAC* HEMMMM 'scuse me, does anyone have a cough drop? Thanks

What do you suppose I do if I don't like the idea but not willing to give a long explanation towards it? Where is the dislike button?

well i think some people want to know whether or not the readers liked it or not; even if that is by saying:

good article

+++++

no-one cares

They removed the downvote button a long time ago.

Yes, they say so that we don't just hit down vote but explain ourselves.

I say stop this nonsense ranting about everything Tanki related.

We don't care.

If you really don't care, then stop posting in this topic and stop reading/replying to the posts. Go away. And stop following this topic. -_- If you really don't care, I don't know why you would follow the topic.. -_-

Their mistake with removing the downvote button was that now they have to weave through thousands of "bad update plz remove" posts to find something useful. Instead of just looking at the number of downvotes and noticing "Oh, they don't seem to like this one...".

Well maybe they removed it so that players would have to explain why the idea is bad and explain the downsides.

But again, that's like trying to get something constructive out of Dilsharox. .-.
