Never Ending Timer?

I was in a battle on EN 6 when I joined a battle that was suppose to be 15 min long. But once you enter the battle, the timer part look all different with letters and numbers. In this battle (ranks staff sergeant - sergeant major) the battle fund got up to 12k crystals and has 1 person with 300+ kills and 2 people with 100+ kills. I'm pretty sure this isn't a normal battle!!!

P.S. Look at the timer area in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
