When players send gifts to other players, the maximum amount of characters is currently 300.

 

300 characters is far to short.

 

I strongly recommend that this length of character is updated to 1000.

 

It would be a lot better for player to be able to type a message in the gift box, up to a maximum of 1000 character, instead of the usual 300.

I think the only reason it's 300 characters is because that's how much text can fit in one window, when a person viewed the gift they received. So 300 characters is not an anti-spam limitation, but rather just the maximum amount of text that can fit there.

In my opinion, it won't happen. While sending a gift card or a gift in real life, do you actually write a 1000 word essay? 300 words itself is a huge limit. Greetings and wishes sent along with gifts are usually concise and to the point.

Please understand that 300 characters is too short. If you want to make your friends properly understand what you are saying, then you should consider writing sentences properly in order for your friends to understand what you are saying. That is why I have said that 1000 characters is a good amount of characters to write a good description in full sentences.

 

Tanki Online developers could very well completely take out the limit of characters that players write when they send gifts to other tankers. Good luck and thanks for understanding me - RIDDLER_8.

Besides, if the developers were to remove the character number limit, then you could type an endless message and it wouldn't even fit on the screen and would be a pain in the butt for the server to send. The only way I can think of how it would fit is if you could scroll through it.

Usually, if you were to type a long message, wouldn't you want to give it some meaning and value, linking with the cost and value of the gift sent.

E.g. I want to send you a long message of I've known you for 2 years, and all our memories and fun times together, shouldn't I send a Blue Sphere because it costs a lot and therefore has a lot of value, making my gift and message worth to keep.
