Solution: Posting prntscr links.

Lightshot (prntscr) actually uploads images directly to imgur.com, an image hosting site that is allowed on the forum.

If you upload an image with lightshot it will open the image in a prnt.sc page, but the image url is actually from imgur, hence it is usable in the forum.

If you are wondering why posting images using the prnt.sc link doesn't work, this is because you are pasting a website url, not an image url. If you want to post an image on the forum, you need to use the image url. In the case of prnt.sc, the image url is an imgur address.
