These forums aren't dead, but they certainly would be a better place if there weren't ten thousand commandments. Can't even have signature, nuuu, that would mess with the purdy "clean" look. Can't put a spoiler in a spoiler, that shall be considered spam. Can't color your text in ways we don't like. That last one isn't even a real rule, but it somehow gets enforced anyway.

The forum is about the game and the off topic discussion can't be off the topic of tanki. And why the hell is he promoting other sites instead of the tanki forum...

The main purpose of the forum is communication between the players. If we're supposed to do that on fb then r.i.p forum

But I guess it already happened, everyone switched to skype anyway.

You are probably missing many important points in your argument, but let me list them all, one by one, so that your argument may really "make sense":

• Game Rules
• Off-Topic Section Rules
• Communicating is COMPLETELY allowed and there are no limitations to it as long as such communications do not represent a form of inappropriate and inadequate communication, which are forbidden
• Off-Topic discussions are allowed, but you are probably unaware that "Off-Topic" doesn't mean "nonsense spam, flood, utterly immature and inadequate contents" — "Off-Topic" doesn't mean that users are allowed to flame / troll each others, spam the hell out of anything and do whatever they want, but most of the users "living" in this section aim at the above points and, sadly, those are forbidden
• You are speaking about using Skype instead of using Forum — why are you suggesting another software instead of the Tanki Forum? :O
• Suggesting sites like Facebook and Twitter is a common-practice — Tanki Online is not the place to sort out your own personal issues and real life facts or personal communications, you should use the above mentioned sites to do so.

 

Now, in conclusion, you claim that you see this as a dead Forum, but have you spent enough time on it? I strongly doubt that you experienced all its features and spent enough time on it to know it widely since you still miss to know one of the most important yet basic features — the Search option!

This argument has been brought up plenty of times and has been answered in detail as many times as it was brought up, so please do some researches.
