Alt Codes

  Tanki forums actually support far more characters than a typical keyboard contains. To access these extra letters, hold down on the 'alt' key and type in the corresponding codes on the numpad.

For example, if you wanted the heart, you would hold  the alt key tap the 3 on the numpad, and release the alt key.

 

 

As you can see, there are plenty more than what I posted on that list above, share your favorites!

And what if we want to write something which has 2 digits? For eg. Alt + 33

Hold down the alt key as you type the entire sequence, release the alt key when finished.

I know all of this small "characters" look amazing, but please avoid flooding with them. You can test them without pressing the "Post" button, so if that is your only intention, do it that way :)

I spent 20 mins looking for ♪ (forgot how to create alt codes and then searched for the one I was looking for) only to find out that the website I wanted to use it on didn't support it -_- At least I know now :P

Yes we can test them without posting but just because we can does not mean we should. It doesn't look as good either, and since this thread is about them is there really that much of a problem with people testing them here? :)
