Players swopping sides in battle.

If the program was set to prevent side switching.  Then it would help prevent sides from suddenly collapsing after doing well.  Clans or groups of friends set on moral fraud would have to try so much harder and be more inventive to ruin games for their own profit.  Don't folk realize that we are paying for their equipment and supplies by fostering and allowing this to go on!  They ruin games, cause a lot of resentment and disenchantment not only against them but also the game owners for allowing it to go on.  While effectively distorting their own crystal wealth and personal well being.

 

If it was only the odd player wanting to be with his boyfriend, then that would not effect many games but it is not just one player, it is half a team or more defecting.  Even today I suffered through this.  In my view they are skallys or chaves.

I don't see why side switching is wrong. Imagine helping a team to capture 7 flags and then switching sides and helping the other team. It's nice to test yourself from time to time and see if you can actually turn the tide, alone or with the help of a friend.

It has become increasingly obvious to me that a lot of people are swopping sides in battle constantly. It is also clear that a lot of this is people working in teams, divided in the battle and as new people join they are changing side until they are all on the same side. I never noticed this much at lower ranks but it seems to be endemic in gissmo battles.

So my suggestion here is to limit how a player can change sides. At the moment there is no restriction. I suspect a restriction of as low a time as one minute will dramatically lower the amount of swopping from red to blue and vice-versa that goes on. By that I mean that when a player leaves a battle he should not be able to rejoin the same battle on the OPPOSITE side for at least one minute. This time could be altered if necessary but I suspect it is not far off right.

Make it two minutes and it will work nicely with the planned feature that will make the system remember the battle you left for whatever reason (errors). I have seen this problem and it is really annoying, happens a lot in CP.
