Daily Mission Chains, Improvements in Chats and More

Right. The chain reward is way too less. It doesn't worth to intentionally complete the chains. Guys, do some math. Don't force yourselves. Just relax.

Just look at it as a bonus. That 's all it is.

The only thing I object is that it has to be seven days in total. If they keep it like it is than a lot of us

won 't get the chain reward often either.

Six days out of seven to complete the chain is much more reasonable, also because as you said the reward isn 't that much

I rarely dont finish all my missions on the same day. I can use the supplies and crystals. Nice bonus :)

Yes. It is just a bonus for those who can complete the chains. That's why I said "don't force yourselves" to complete it. For me, it is nothing because I don't play everyday.

I noticed that many players are asking, and even create separate topics about this IP update. Asking can they play with their siblings, children, parents etc, using the same internet connection (modem).

On page eight I already said what I think about this. But you can also read the answer from our Help Site asministrator @Adequacy:

It's not a problem at all. If two or more players in a battle have the same IP address, the battle will be highlighted for moderators. They will check and if everything's as well as it's supposed to be, you will not face any problems.

Use as many computers as you want simultaneously from your home IP,  as long as you play according to the tanki rules you will be fine!

Not bragging here, i have 6 laptops (with the time they accumulated) at my disposal everyday at my home and i never, not even once used them to place a mult!!!!

So if you abide by the rules and be civilized, then things will be alright. :)

Yes. It should not be a problem if 2 or more players in the same battle, however it could lead to a problem.

I believe most of the players worry is not the "same IP"; it is when the mod check on the highlighted battle the mod doesn't know what exactly is going on so that the mod may make wrong judgment and banned the players.

Let's say if a father is teaching his young son to play Tanki. They play a battle via the same network (same IP --> highlighted). The father let the son to attack his tank without shooting back in order to let his son to practice aiming, rotating turret or other skills. When the mod look into the highlighted battle does he/she know what exactly is going on there? What the mod does is : hey these guys are leveling !!! BANNED !!!

Please be considerate, from the point of view of players side. Do not only say "no problem, the mod will check on it". The problem is "the mod will check on it" because the mod doesn't know what exactly is going on. He/she could make wrong decisions by only looking into the battles.

That is why so many people are worrying about this "IP address" thing.

Below is my another example posted 2 days ago. Do you think the mod will not make a wrong judgment?

John and Tom are brothers who live with their parents in the same house. They use the same network to play Tanki together. One day they came up with an idea to take a screen shot of their tanks side by side on the same 1 vs 1 TDM battlefield (map) with the score board (on the lower right corner) showing 2016. That is 20 kills for red and 16 kills for blue. They created the battle, went there then made up the scores: John, in red team, let Tom killed 16 times and Tom, in blue team, let John killed 20 times.

Now the mod saw that these two accounts had the same IP address. He looked into the battle and saw that they were making up the scores. He quickly decided that these two accounts were doing leveling (or something not allowed) and banned them, without knowing the truth.

Let 's be real, the big majority of same IP use is either multing or power-levelling.

A moderator investigating a suspiscious battle will have a look at the chat for example, or ask what is going on.

In the case of father teaching son: practicing can be nicely done in Parkour without any limitations, and teaching

can also be done without shooting at each other isn 't it.

In the other example the players in my eyes simply take a risk. So if two Tankers from the same IP want to power-level

they just have to make up some story at forehand like we just wanted to make 77 77?

So it 's up to the moderator to find out the "truth"?

Also I can imagine there 's a good chance TO will give out last-time warnings instead of immediate lifetime bans,

depending on the situation ofcourse.

Especially multing is a serious problem because it spoils what could have been nice battles.

This IP measure is at least a start to get rid of this kind of foul play.

Here's the thing dude, *Your teaching Father should be able to make a sensible decision and make two new accounts, if he doesn't want his advanced accounts to get blocked! He can continue to teach his son how to shoot still!

...and ...

Due to unending sabotages from violators this has happened, so be advised, *no more 2016s screen captures for John and Tom or Tom and Jerry.

For the argument's sake let's say *"for the good of the majority your Tom & Jerry must be satisfied without 2016 on their screen capture, because thanks to your 2016 huge amount of abuse may take place.

*Now stop being such an egocentric spoiled child <---(viewer discretion warning: Do not click here if you don't want to know the synonym for underlined words), while getting your head out of the lower end of your digestive system, have a look around, why this has happened and how much good it can bring!

You don't need to type so many words. You just need to say "Tanki can banned who even they want without a reason. "  So simple. Why make up reasons and explain?

I can see your thought. If one man steals something, put the entire town into jail.  Let's make the town crime-less. Good. I hope one day you will rule your country and do it to your people.

Don 't talk nonsense. You choose to keep the game like it is for a few exceptions that might get banned unfairly

and if and only if a mod makes a wrong decision.

With your kind of thinking there would never be any progress possible because you will always have those exceptions.

In the case of countries like you mentioned it is the same, when they make a new law there will be some

people who unintentionally are mistreated. It 's than up to the government to fix this.

Good governments do that.

Also if your were the leader of a country you couldn 't send nobody to prison because you never know: they could be innocent...

That 's pretty ridiculous and it doesn 't work that way fortunately.

No, if we all want a better game, Tanki has to deal with power-levelling and especially mults.

If we look at Tanki as a town in your words:

it 's about time to get rid of those crooks who keep the majority of fair citizens in hostage.

Will be interesting to see if this stays.  Seems like it would motivate players to not complete all the (3) daily tasks since you only have to do 1 per day to get the 7 day bonus.

Well, considering that he is answering questions at Help site and everyone is free to ask a question at Help site, and also to use the search feature there. I do not see any reason why he would made some sort of "official announcement" at Forum.

Let's say if a father is teaching his young son to play Tanki. They play a battle via the same network (same IP --> highlighted).

Just a moment.

IP address is a numerical label assigned to each device (e.g., computer, printer) participating in a computer network that uses the Internet Protocol for communication.

When two computers are using the same internet connection (modem) they can not have the same IP address. Each computer has its own IP address. No matter they are using the same internet connection (modem).

Even it is theoretically impossible for them to have the same IP address.

If you do not believe me, feel free to connect two computers on the same network, and check it out separately for each PC on What is my IP adress

Regarding Crystal Missions / Mission Chains.

Update: Day4 since intro of Mission Chain.

Out of 16 missions (I changed 1 each day, usually always do). Only 1 crystal reward (670!), rest supplies.

I seriously now believe Tanki are scrimping on the Crystal for Mission rewards. Anyone else experience this??

Come on Tanki, MUs are cripplingly expensive.

D

FYI Some Crystal stats for Generalisimos Missions (completing all 3 missions daily)

Jul15  Total=48263,   DailyAvg=2681.3

Aug15 Total=103845, DailyAvg=3349.8

Sep15 Total=76068,   DailyAvg=2535.6

Oct15 Total=62309,   DailyAvg=2396.5

Nov15 Total=46068,   DailyAvg=1645.3

Dec15 Total=58631,   DailyAvg=2094.0

Jan16 Total=84758,   DailyAvg=2922.7

Feb16 Total=65996,  DailyAvg=2275.7

Definitely, I noticed it too and I wasn't the only one. The chains are a smokescreen, they significantly reduced daily missionsm since this update, I'm pretty sure of it. It's just a scheme to make us earn even less crystals but most can't understand what Tanki is doing here. They basically are taking one piece of meat from us everyday (by reducing the daily rewards) just to give us a bone at the end of the week/month.

If this is not true, then I challenge you tanki developers to come and ensure us that you did not mess with daily mission rewards.

I'll be waiting.

Play NON-stop 28 days and get only 3K+ for month ???!!! Don't be funny TANKI :D :D :D  I getting the same in 1-3 days missions :D Why I should keep be here for a month ? :P

Correction: *you were getting such amount of crystals before this update, now you won't because they seem to have significantly reduced the daily mission rewards (which was the point of this update).

I'll be waiting for a tanki developer to tell us they haven't messed with daily rewards.

I'm pretty sure something HAS changed: they reduced the daily rewards, I'm pretty sure of it. That was the whole point of this update: to make us get even less crystals.

However if this is not true, and tanki hasn't messed with daily mission rewards, I'd like that a moderator would tell us.

I'll be waiting.
