Daily Mission Chains, Improvements in Chats and More

I'm pretty sure something HAS changed: they reduced the daily rewards, I'm pretty sure of it. That was the whole point of this update: to make us get even less crystals.

However if this is not true, and tanki hasn't messed with daily mission rewards, I'd like that a moderator would tell us.

I'll be waiting.

I wasn't aware, but i like your idea about authorized person answering your question.

THe reward (750 crys for a major?) for example is so little, its insignificant, completely, 3350 at the end of 4 weeks for a gismo is nothing, most gismos earn 335,000 a month

These rewards are not meant to be big. This is just an extra bonus for doing missions regularly. Considering most missions take you a couple of minutes to complete... Well, you understand I hope. Prize is equal to the challenge, and there's no challenge here.

Plus, these are not final numbers. Will be monitoring those. If tankers need more encouragement, we'll be increasing the bonus.

As of this new update. Tankers are given a chance to either give a message which is visible to everyone, or just the two talking. My suggestion is,when we receive a pm the color is distinct. But when we send a public message to a person that color and the other guy sending a message to another random guy is same which makes it rather confusing. I will show with a example to make it easy to understand.

aciFGOL.png

Here you see Shreejeev sent me a Public message Is light green.

Shreejeev Sent a random guy a Public message is also Light green

But shreejeev sent me a PM it is distinctive.

So my idea was to give a different color when .. I am receiving a public message it is also noticeably different from shreejeev sending the other guy a pm. That is

-- : Ok. (Should be of a different color)

-- Randomguy: Hey (Should be light green)

To all the confusion around the measures for tracking same IP in same battle :

If you play by the Game rules and do not engage in power-levelling, multing or sabotaging, then you have nothing to fear.

This applies whether you're playing with family members, from the same school or library with friends and so on.

put this in the startpost of all announcements, that explain the feature.

Would save you a lot of work...

Just a moment.

IP address is a numerical label assigned to each device (e.g., computer, printer) participating in a computer network that uses the Internet Protocol for communication.

When two computers are using the same internet connection (modem) they can not have the same IP address. Each computer has its own IP address. No matter they are using the same internet connection (modem).

It is possible.

the way it is done is called NAT (Netword Adress Tanslation) and it is the Nr.1 way that todays WLAN rounters work (preconfigured).

In short words:

[local IPs of your PCs at home]     <-> [int. IP:10.0.0.1 - WiFi Router] -NAT- [Modem ext. IP 172.123.12.123]  <-> [ internet]

[PC 01: int. IP:10.0.0.23]

[Laptop int. IP:10.0.0.15]

[Tablet int. IP:10.0.0.88]

1. in the domain of your PCs at home, every PC has it's own unique IP address.

2. the modem/WLAN Router features NAT has only one unique IP to the outside worlds internet

3) the NAT router holds a translation table, where he associates each of your home-internal local IPs&ports to the one external IP and other assiciated ports.

4) by this means you can have a lot of PCs at home, that see each other by different local IPs

but any service outside of the NAT router (any service in the internet) will see your external IP - for all computers you are using.

You just confirmed what I already said.

These three devices have different IP addresses. The last two digits.

..but those are only visible "inside" your local network.

Visible to the outside (to Tanki) is just your single, external IP of the modem

No

if you have NAT (like almost all WLAN routers sold here in the shops and online) - then yes.

You maybe have no NAT. Thats fine. But I bet, most players with multple PCs in a household have it.

I'm sorry. I wrote two years ago that there are opportunities for abuse. We have great társoság. You play wi-fi .3 family. We solve. Many of the new changes. Newenhancements. And when it comes Tanki x? There will be a new career? Newweapons? New hull?
We love big map. Hills, mountains, buildings, valleys. New career high as Berlin.There are many hills as a massacre. Houses such as Iran. (Berlin, massacre, hills, Iran hybrid map?)
You play until then anything else.

NAT (Network address translation)

Network address translation is not commonly used in IPv6, because one of the design goals of IPv6 is to restore end-to-end network connectivity.

Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) is the most recent version of the Internet Protocol (IP), the communications protocol that provides an identification and location system for computers on networks and routes traffic across the Internet.

It is pointless that we mention (and I will not) IPv4 from the 20 (and more) years ago.

Case closed, little less mults. Overall good update, enjoy the game.

I also like IPv6 to come.

But today only aprox. 10% of all internet traffic is IPv6. Despite of it's age, IPv4 is still reality for most people around the world.

IPv4 is still the majority of traffic, household equipment and (used) infrastructure even in larger scale companies.

You can also stop using the TCP protocol, which is the same age. Much fun beeing ofline ;)

But there you are right: case closed, overall good update, enjoy the game :)

Default text for gifts from banned players

Since the introduction of in-game gifts, some tankers have been abusing the custom messages feature to insult other players. This issue has been resolved with the update. If a player is banned, his custom gift messages will be replaced with a standard message.

Why because you get banned a lot for insulting players in the gift message?

Only the recipient will know whether the sender is banned or not and that is all. Moderators do not check violation of Rules in the text within the gifts. Not yet.

Yes. It should not be a problem if 2 or more players in the same battle, however it could lead to a problem.

I believe most of the players worry is not the "same IP"; it is when the mod check on the highlighted battle the mod doesn't know what exactly is going on so that the mod may make wrong judgment and banned the players.

Let's say if a father is teaching his young son to play Tanki. They play a battle via the same network (same IP --> highlighted). The father let the son to attack his tank without shooting back in order to let his son to practice aiming, rotating turret or other skills. When the mod look into the highlighted battle does he/she know what exactly is going on there? What the mod does is : hey these guys are leveling !!! BANNED !!!

Please be considerate, from the point of view of players side. Do not only say "no problem, the mod will check on it". The problem is "the mod will check on it" because the mod doesn't know what exactly is going on. He/she could make wrong decisions by only looking into the battles.

That is why so many people are worrying about this "IP address" thing.

Below is my another example posted 2 days ago. Do you think the mod will not make a wrong judgment?

John and Tom are brothers who live with their parents in the same house. They use the same network to play Tanki together. One day they came up with an idea to take a screen shot of their tanks side by side on the same 1 vs 1 TDM battlefield (map) with the score board (on the lower right corner) showing 2016. That is 20 kills for red and 16 kills for blue. They created the battle, went there then made up the scores: John, in red team, let Tom killed 16 times and Tom, in blue team, let John killed 20 times.

Now the mod saw that these two accounts had the same IP address. He looked into the battle and saw that they were making up the scores. He quickly decided that these two accounts were doing leveling (or something not allowed) and banned them, without knowing the truth.

Easy answer to this, teach your son how to aim on parkour, then you will not gain any advantage, also works for the 2016 picture.

your not the only one who is confused on this most mods also are having issues when it first came out ..

they need to change it or go back to the drawing board and re-due this idea

You have now 3h ( = three hours) of premium benefits:
- you earn +100% crystals
- you earn +50% experience
- you may use the premium paint, which is now in your garage

the three hours start, as soon as you hit the "claim reward" button.
To time it wise ;)
