Easter Eggs for Easter

Recommended Posts

On software programmers can place hidden objects in a program called 'Easter Eggs'. Could Tanki plant a couple on maps at random? Maybe they could be hidden in a drop down box (armor, speed boost or double damage) and the reward could be a % off an upgrade on a paint or a hull or a turret.

I don't remember Tanki celebrating Easter since it's technically a religious holiday, which we don't celebrate to avoid any issues with discrimination. But we'll see.

Similar as stated above, TO doesn't celebrate Christmas since it is a religious event, but it does celebrate New Year celebrations at the same time frame.

In Russia we celebrate New Year. Orthodox Christmas is in January and has nothing to do with decorations on trees. It just happens to be the case that typical Christmas is on the end of December, so the developers decided to combine the two into one big celebration.

to me the Christmas should not represents Christmas due to the fact that conifer trees ...were  not found in the location where the baby was born according to the bible ..

so to me it really has no place for them ..on Dec 25 there are two celebrations the believers and the non believers day

the ones who go to church

and the ones who have a tree in there house..

Hallmark and Coke have changed the way we see this holiday now..if you go back in time family's spend time together for the holidays now i find more family's are at the movie theater or just out not with family its gotten more commercialized then traditional

for one if you research the Christmas tree

.the tree comes from Germany just like the lights each thing has a meaning behind them ..

the tree

A Christmas tree is a decorated tree, usually an evergreen conifer such as spruce, pine, or fir or an artificial tree of similar appearance,  Originally a Celtic custom, the Christmas tree developed in early modern Germany (where it is today called Weihnachtsbaum or Christbaum) with predecessors that can be traced to the 16th and possibly 15th century, in which devout Christians brought decorated trees into their homes.[1][2] It acquired popularity beyond Germany during the second half of the 19th century, at first among the upper classes.[3]

The tree was traditionally decorated with edibles such as apples, nuts, or other foods. In the 18th century, it began to be illuminated by candles which were ultimately replaced by Christmas lights after the advent of electrification. Today, there is a wide variety of traditional ornaments, such as garland, tinsel, and candy canes

Yeah the game is Russian

In Russia (And I think Eastern Europe), Orthodox Christianity is widely practiced. (correct me if im wrong), where in the United States, Protestant Christianity is more widely practiced. Just different branches of the same main religion

..Although eggs, in general, were a traditional symbol of fertility and rebirth,  ...

Easter eggs, also called Paschal eggs,[1] are decorated eggs that are often given to celebrate Easter or springtime.

The oldest tradition is to use dyed and painted chicken eggs,

but a modern custom is to substitute chocolate eggs, or plastic eggs filled with confectionery such as chocolate.

that's true.. some painted eggs started out to represent the death of Christ ..for example  the egg shell is the death and the chicken / bird or animal is the birth or resurrection   of new life ..if i'am correct..in the past they use to paint the eggs red to symbolize the blood he shed for them for when he died

but now a days people don't decorate eggs like that now there works of art and the love has been put into them ..each one is different cause there all made by hand not machines ..the good ones..
