I think Tanki should have p.m.'s in the game, where you can send a p.m. to people in a battle, like when your friend is in a battle you can't join because of your rank, or if the battle is full, it would really be nice to be able to do. Who's with me here?

Yes I agree that it would be nice to have pms in the game like is in the forum. But that would take a heck of a lot of coding and programing

Developers considered it, but as far as I know, they either didn't have time to add this feature to the current in-game PM system, or this is simply not possible to do within Flash. This will most likely be added in Tanki X, but if developers get a chance to make it for Tanki Online - it will happen.

If that's the case, then I'm surprised as to how they got the time to add XTs and Teddy Bears and whatnot in this game.

This Idea seem's good but, we all know Tanki is mainly focused on Tanki X right now. So, expecting such type of updates in this game would be too much.

Nah, it is a good idea because we are unable to talk to players in a battle. The only way to get their attention is by sending an invite, so they leave the battle but even then, it's confusing. IF you can just send a message saying 'Clan War' or 'Come fast, rank up party!' or something, y'know? It'll be so much more helpful.

Making new props like XT items, debugging, setting parameters...Really, wasn't time of 5 minutes.

Teddy bears are easier to put in indeed.

I said that they either didn't have time, or simply could work out how to do it in Flash. I once saw Hazel answering questions in the RU4 server chat and from what I remember - he said that the way they implemented the current system is the only option they could come up with. I'm sure they tried making server-to-battle messaging, but probably encountered some technical complications and abandoned the idea.

 

XTs and teddy bears were probably much simpler features. I know for a fact that XTs are simple - it's just a case of drawing a new texture and adding it to the game as a separate weapon.
