The problem is with outdated old servers that lack sufficient capacity.  Flash is very problematic.  It is the Tanki's responsibility to fix the problems not the playing paying public!  The main problem is Tanki, it need to reinvest more.  Perhaps Tanki X will be the problem solver, we shall have to wait and see.

I have played a few times on Russian servers and even when full of games and busy games I have not experienced lag. In fact just returned from RU games and no lag at all! Is this yet another thing that we are being discriminated against?

 

Can anyone else confirm this?

I was playing and repeatedly was telling me re-enter the game and after doing that for 10 mins it throwed me

yu didnt give them ice cream so it ignored yu (( next time have chocolate their so that people wont throw you out

So, most importantly, if you can't fix the damn server, GIVE PLAYERS COMPENSATION! I lost 20-30k because of this issue, and it ain't that fun. I emailed tanki with all the pictures, details, all they said is

The purpose of having multiple servers available to Tanki Online is to distribute the load. Tanki Online offers players the ability to choose their own server so they can choose their gameplay experience. Obviously the more populated servers are the more likelihood they will be laggy. Additionally servers that are physically further from the player increase latency. To reduce lag caused by latency and server congestion - choose a server that is less populated and do your part to contribute to your and the communities respective experience.

Actually it would be great if tanki takes care to distribute the load on the servers.. because looking at RU1 it becomes obvious that a user decided load sharing does not work so well...

 

Also as far as I know the servers of the English as well as the Russian community are all hosted in Wester Europe (Netherlands if I remmber it correctly) and so there is no chance to select a more-close server - except you join the Brasil community.

 

So in the end it would be really great if tanki creates a unified lobby that displays all battles (have filters) and that decides on it's own on which server new battles are created. If this Tanki-Lobby would create new battles always on the lowest loaded servers, the load would rapidly move out of overload and would be more equally distributed over all servers.

The users themselfes would not even need to know, which server they are playing at.

Only the loading-logic would have to be refined (shorten load times on serverchange)

Well right now there was gold boxes where actualy dropped there were 3 off them. And i see one and i took it but something went wrong, it's lags in the game again! why these lags are coming all over the game! and lags are ruined whole my day. And i'm wana fixing my internet and game lags witch is *Ping* and continue gaming so i was managed catched 1000 crystal gold box and it was my luck.

hello,befor i start this topic i searched well to solve it but invain ,my proplem is that when i join a battle my ping keep jumping to 999 and 500 even i don't download anything and wi-fi is closed my internet speed is 4mgp i know its slow but i was playing with it for long  time so i hope u can help me so i can catch one of these super golds :( and yea i use fire fox

yes i know, your all like  :angry: on me just cause im low rank...   Usually when you play tanki, your on a excellent internet (im just guessing. How should i know if your internet is bad?). For me, i play tanki on any server ( with my main account) its works fine. (yes even RU1) but sometimes if the server is full and errors happen and we all get kicked out of a battle. Its just like that, your playing fine, then it the game stops. :huh: sorry

Terrible jerky lag on EN1 circa 22:30 CAT

 

Unplayable - made it through one 15 minute DM on Noise.

The whole time is was "move, move, move ... la-ag".

Got better at judging when the jerk lag would come ... "thousand-and-one, thousand-and-two, thousand-and-la-a-aag" .. "thousand-and-one, " etc.

 

No issue on EN5, EN3 before that ... but needed a DM for a daily mission.

 

I will not be playing on EN1 until this is fixed.

Maybe it is time to leave again.
