I understand that's part of the equation, but game servers lag as well. And when it's happening to such a large % of the players on Tanki, passing it off as a problem with their personal computer isn't going to help. I've done my fair share of programming (not gaming, but programming none the less) and poor server side code can slow down the user experience no matter how fast the user's computer is.

 

Not to mention, there was a ton of lag in the Women's Day Battle. The announcers were lagging as well as the players. It's a server side issue that needs to be fixed that keeps getting masked by people saying it's a personal computer problem.

Yes... I wonder what they have changed recently, that introduced so much lag on the server side.

Some statistics maybe.. or a more ressource taking way of fly-hack-prevention.. no idea.

Theres always so much lag. I hate it. The worst thing was this noob keeps drugging to kill my team and we cannot do anything because we are lagging too much and that noob does not lag at all!   :(

Ok here's full detail ( my version )

Playing in a battle.. Just chilling like usual.. Battle fund hits 8 000k ! Wow time for me to stop multing and get the enemy flag... I go to enemy base , I get in to their flag.. Woah ! I cant get the flag !! Then with in a seconds my tank gets teleported to my base

I think its normal so I go back to their base to get flag.. I still cant get flag ;c instead the other players are doing rock and roll, or may be break dance.. Some are flying in the air... So I get bored and try to troll them. I push them and all of a sudden they get back on me.. They cant be moved from their places ... Then all of a sudden I seee a black page. And then everyone knows what they say when the lagg out ....

RU3 had some major lagging problems earlier on.

My Ping went crazy, and almost everyone lagged out of the battle.

I recently played a game with almost no lags, I ran with the enemy flag and aproached the delivery point as I suddenly lost it -.-

Ping between 20..40.

Tanki is out of control because of FPS! It is really bad now, even on EN4,5,and 6 which are usually pretty good. And it isn't my connection either, I have fibre optic broadband! If tanki doesn't fix this problem soon, then the players will all have to leave. The woman's day contest had to be stopped half way because of FPS, and it was being streamed on Youtube LIVE! I was watching it.

Actually I kept posting like I did all the time, I just started to add my signature to it.

I do not write posts just for the sake of placing a signature somewhere <_<

 

The only two things that have changed are:

1. you recognice my posts easier, and so you think there are more of them around (like if you own a new car, you see more of this make around then you used to do). It is simple "recognition" by your side - or selective perception if I may interpret your smiley correctly :P :P

2. the club isn't "little" any more, we have 35 members in the meanwhile

 

 

But to get back on topic:

I really would like to know, what and if Tanki devs are changing.. and what caused the lags.

I mean.. there must be a reason that lead to it.

Our customer service had to stop refunding lost crystals. This was done to to a huge growth in the number of fake reports on lost funds. We are currently looking into the issue, doing our best to solve it. In the meantime, follow the advice and play shorter battles. I know it's a workaround, but it's the best thing you can do atm.

Hello,

This is TheMask321.

I have been experiencing the following issues from past a month.

--Sudden disappearance of battle screen (it disappears out leaving green-grey screen)

--I cant spawn and i just have to see what all players are doing

--I go through all supplies and gold boxes ( i might have lost 3k + crystals due to this)

--people rotating their turrets or firing them constantly for infinite time

--as soon as i spawn, many turrets, mostly shaft and smoky starts rotating automatically even if i haven't pressed a button!

--i remain hollow after spawning

--After spawning, i cant kill any tanks until i die, 4 to 5 times

--changing turrets or hulls in battles doesn't affect the current one. It remains the same regardless of what i have done in the garage.

 

I looked in every part of the forum, i scanned all forum topics and i looked at all questions asked in question help topic,

none of them worked. At the most they worked for 30 minutes and again the same starts.

I need expert advice from you guys. I know this topic is repeated maybe but i cant find a working solution so thought i could put a light on this one. here are the Specs of my Laptop and Internet:

 

--OS: Windows 10 Pro 32 bit

  Browser: No browser, I use Standalone Flash player

  Anti-virus: Quick Heal Total Security

--Method: WiFi with link speed 54mbps

               Internet speed: 4mbps

               WiFi model: Linksys WRT300N V1.1

               Ping to c5 and other servers of tanki: around 120 average

--Processor: AMD E-450 APU with Radeon HD 6320 graphics 1.65GHz

  RAM: 2gb out of which 1.6gb is usable

  graphics: 1024mb total available memory for graphics

                 384mb dedicated video memory

                 540mb shared system memory

  version: 15.201.1151.0

--resolution: 1366x788

 

This is above information latest available. If you need more, feel free to ask it. I wouldn't hesitate.

Sorry for putting the post of which problems are asked again but i need a solution which would work.

Last but not the least, my laptop Sony VPCYB35AN.

Reply and try to help me as soon as possible. I am ready to give tons of information about my pc system but i need the working solution.

About Game screen disappearance:

 

So, i was playing with my friend 1 vs 1 on Sandbox. no one was lagging 'too much' ping was high. we tested our internet speeds. RESULTS: Mine: 4mbps His: 12mbps

 

We both same same PC configuration. No background activity. We were playing on EN5.

And suddenly the fps went to 2 and ping to 999. No such laptop problems noticed. Shortly isida (his turret) began to have infinite range. wherever i went, isida was killing me staying on the same position. it went through walls. i shot him but it didnt have any effect on him. Later after 1 minute. BOOM! the battle screen disappeared. i couldnt see tanks, nothing but the top bar which shows same, rank, crystals etc. the bolted background was only visible. I pressed the "x" button and i was redirected to battle selection. i selected the same battle and then i couldnt join. the loading stuck at about 97%.

 

 

About Non-spawn:

 

So that day i was playing in EN5. Iran CTF 5 vs 5, i got killed and ping was high as it is now too. internet speed mine :4.2mbps

after i got killed, i was taken to a spawn site where i didnt spawn. i was just staring at the screen. i could see tankers destroying others, i could chat too but no spawning of tanks.i pressed "x" and rejoined the battle. similar 97% loading stuck!

 

 

About going through supplies and Gold boxes:

 

So that day i was playing in Rio TDM full players on EN5. the match was going good though ping was usually high. internet speed: 3.7 mbps

i got killed. i spawned. i shot a guy 3 times with rails and he didnt die. i again shot him 3 times still didnt die (a wasp). so i thought lets take a double damage. i went to the drop box but i went past it! i couldnt pick it up! i self destructed 4-5 times but to no avail! i quit the match, joined the same battle again and as usual, 97% stuck!

So once i had been playing Rio CTF full players EN5. high ping. internet speed 4mbps.

i could take the supplies dropped. suddenly "TOI TOI TOI" The Gold Box will be dropped soon

so i hurried to find the gold. i found the drop zone, no one was there. it was my lucky day. the gold box fell but it went past me. i went through it but i couldnt take it! i was by the gold box for 20 seconds and i prayed to god (developers) but i couldnt take it, soon other players came and took it. This has happened more than 3 times.

I think control administrators must Drop the gold in my account.

 

 

About rotating turrets and fires

 

Once playing in Polygon CTF EN5. ping normal. internet speed: 4 mbps

got killed and spawned. played hide and seek and took their flag and suddenly all tanks stopped moving. most of them kept their turrets rotating constantly. firebirds kept firing for infinite time and i couldnt kill them neither i could capture the flag. i went past it. Had to rejoin but same problem 97% stuck.

i was playing with railgun. got bored. so switched to shaft. i positioned myself near the blue side behind the bracket. shot few guys and i died. so spawned somewhere and the shaft rotated automatically! i didnt press any button, nor the keyboard buttons were stuck. it rotated continuously. i had to self destruct to get it right. it worked.

But self destructing is not the option everytime right? why should i loose my score? It happens with smoky too. Majorly with shaft though. that day was lucky for me because the glitch restored with 1 self destruct. on most occasions i have to commit suicide a couple of times.

 

 

About Hollowness

 

So that day in Madness TDM. EN5. ping very high. internet speed 4mbps.

i was leading that battle. then a guy killed me. i spawned and i remained white-grey. i was hollow. i could pass through other tanks. i couldnt take supplies. i couldnt shoot. i couldnt do anything. i couldnt self destruct too.

i thought i will re join the match. did so. same thing happened. 97% stuck. Another day in EN5, sunny day in sandbox 1 vs 1 CTF. same thing happened. and then The Gold box will be dropped soon

it was like "Why??" i passed through the gold box. nothiing happened. both-my amount of crystals and the gold box remained intact.

 

 

About in-game garage bug

 

Once in hot deserts of Iran TDM. EN5. ping 999 internet speed: 4mbps.

i was suffering a lot due to lags. then i stood still. i didnt make my tank move an inch. shortly some unknown god answered my prayers. ping was 800 but i could move smoothly. at that instant, internet speed: 3.77 mbps

then 2-3 seconds later, ping 80. it was like smoothest battle every played. that instant internet speed: 3.9mbps

i wanted to change weapon; railgun----> isida. i equipped it. but the message didnt come "changes applied, self destructing in 10..9.." so i changed my hull too. but still the same. i couldnt change my turret. no matter what combinations i took. so i decided to rejoin. same problem. 97% stuck.

 

 

For all developers, tankers who expect to get this fixed and the ones who want to type all this but are lazy to do so.

Too Much Posts to read, BUT , Do everyone  forgot the 1ST cause of LAgg Such as GLitcy HACKERS and WORST: LAGG SWITCH ,

LAGG GENERATORS , LAGG HACKS  ( http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=210446 ) ?


Also , these spray guns i hate such as firebirds and Freezers are HUGE Laggers effects generators affecting even FPS.

Many Russians players uses ON PURPOSE translators that are heavy laggers, i suspect them to increase these softwares side

effects overusing it.


Many of dishonnest players understood that generating lagg is the ultimate STEALTH HACKS, discreet and natural looking judge by

urself how many time repôrting hackers fails admin saying noobishly "Its just lagg, check ur Ping.".

Generated lagg is the hardest of all hacks to spot and punish.

3 minutes before the end of a poly cp with a large fund, and multiple people (including me) stop spawning.

 

Loading times are taking forever

These are not bad every once in a while, but it seems like once every 3 weeks or so it is like this. Not too mad atm, but seriously, please fix it.

Wrong section; it should be posted in Problems and Solutions and the lag issue is already being worked on. Multiple complaints about lag does not help the developers fix it.
