Question about xp/bp battles

I was looking at the wiki and it says to join xp/bp battles you need to have "With Wasp M2 one of the following paints is required: Forester, Corrosion, Emerald, Raccoon, Fracture, Blacksmith, Sandstone, Savanna, Bronze, Veteran (10% or 20%) With Hornet M2 one of the following paints is required: Raccoon, Fracture, Blacksmith, Sandstone, Savanna, Bronze, Veteran (20%) "

Does this mean i am not able to play xp/bp without any of those paints even if it has less or no protection than required??

Yeah Ithink it means that you need one of those paints

Lol i was just wondering why I couldnt join a battle with a paint that had no rail protection...

Yes, you can only join format battles with the listed paints.
