Hey all. Nationalism at it's best in here. I get it. I cheer for my country when the olympics are taking place. I cheer for other countries as well. But in this case, buying a paint was putting a bet down on the winning team. If this were real money, would you put it down on a team just because they are from your country? Or would you do your research, look to see which players played CTF more, had more experience there, which hulls and turrets they use most and then make your pick? Maybe I'm the only one that did that, but to me, it looked like the Russian team had a bit more experience in CTF mode. Don't hate on people for putting their crystals on the team they thought would win rather than the country they are from. That's using your brain to bet, not your heart. Both teams are awesome, no doubt. The battle was great when it was going smoothly. And that brings me to this point....

 

Why are people beating each other up over speculation that the lag as introduced on purpose by Russian devs? Is everyone forgetting all the times that they have played recently and experienced terrible lag? It has been happening almost every match these days. Everyone should be using their energy to tell the devs to fix the game. The lag we saw was the same lag we see in our own games. Devs need to fix that so the people that support Tanki can continue to do so.

 

All of your passion for national support is awesome. Really. But don't confuse using your head to bet with being a traitor. How about we tell the devs to get the lag out of the game instead?

For all the players who are "supporting" INT team but still bought the RU paint... Please, don't bother giving excuses.

Even if the RU team wins (hopefully fairly, not by cheating), you will get your 5k back and a very small amount of crystals from the losing side. If we win, our fans will get much more crystals. And what's the most important, our fans will get our respect, unlike you. :)

I have been seeing on your game for an hour the day before. It was really great!

You are much more skillful, then RU-players, especially Coopero :)

i'm more ticked off with the commentary and the judging ..  like i said i can't judge the players on how they played due to only getting about 10 min of air time on it ..and the last thing i saw before it crashed was Russians stealing flag on lag and that is what we should be talking about ..

 

on how to improve this issue and put a stop to cheating

Yep, they shouldn't have allowed that flag, there was no one else in the battle apart from 3 or 4 of the russian girls, so that flag should not have been counted.

If you swiched the colors of the teams, I would still buy the purple paint. If it was in place of the In Love paint, I would use it more. I like the protection of the In Love paint, but its looks just turn me off.

I know that International team should have won. But the reason why Russians won was not lag but the fact that I had bought Russian paint.
