Change in daily missions

Ok, so this new system gives u rewards when u complete at least one mission per day, 7 days in a row. It released 7 days ago, and I completed all missions, each day. Today, after I claimed my reward for my mission, I completely forgot about the update. I saw the screen of the new weekly reward stuff, but I completely forgot about it, so I pressed escape(that's what I always do after claiming a reward, so that the window goes away). Did I still get my reward, or do I have to do something else to still claim it?
