What if in every match, a box would drop? What if there was a new box that could grant you special prizes?

examples:

Bronze Box: every match, grants 100 crystals

Silver Box: 1 in every 50 matches: Grants 500 crystals

Gold Box: 1 in every 10,000 matches: Grants 1,000 crystals

Platinum Box: 1 n every 1,000,000 matches: Grants 10,000 crystals

Turret box: 1 in every 100,000 matches: gives the player all available turrets

Hull Box: 1 in every 100,000 matches: gives the player all available hulls

Paint Box: you get the point.

Crystal Boxes: BRING THEM BACK!!!

EXP Box: 1 in every 10,000 matches: Grants 10,000 exp

Gideon Box: 1 in every match: Kills all enemy players instantly

Iron Box: 1 in every 10 matches 1000% Armor for a full minute, even after death it remains activated

 

What if there were a hull for every turret?

Hull: Turret (XT Animal)

Wasp: Firebird   (Dragon)  

Blizzard: Freeze -Blizzard- looks like a snowmobile, unstable like hornet, slips around a lot   (Arctic Fox)  

Hornet: Railgun   (Eagle)  

Hunter: Smokey   (Bea r)  

Smith: Hammer -Smith- very flat with central mass, like dictator mixed with viking  ( Salamander) 

Crimson: Isida -Bat- low tank, very small, viking mixed with hornet. (Obviously a vampire Bat)

Viking: Thunder (Nordic Wolf)

Strider: Shaft -Strider- has 4 tracks, like a water strider, very stable (Water Strider)

Dictator: Twins (Hydra)

Titan: Ricochet (Working on it..)

Mammoth: Vulcan (Lizard)

Gold Box: 1 in every 10,000 matches: Grants 1,000 crystals Gold boxes currently drop with the probability of 1/7000 for every crystal earned. This is much, much lower.

Platinum Box: 1 n every 1,000,000 matches: Grants 10,000 crystals

 

The problem with crystal boxes in general is that a lot of players just go around the map picking them up instead of actually playing. Gold boxes are rare enough that it isn't a huge distraction from gameplay, but in late 2014 when increased values of crystal boxes was implemented people were treating the 100 crystal boxes like gold boxes- nothing was getting done. A bronze box would have a similar effect.

 

Turret box: 1 in every 100,000 matches: gives the player all available turrets

Hull Box: 1 in every 100,000 matches: gives the player all available hulls

 

...yeah, no. If you mean getting every turret/hull in the game at M3, the game balance would be completely ruined. If you mean getting every turret/hull available for you, this would make it far too easy to get a full garage, and it would also be pretty much useless for players in the M0 ranks since they will outgrow their equipment quickly. Also you probably wouldn't see one more than once (if at all) in your entire Tanki career, so very few people will benefit from it.

 

Paint Box: you get the point.

 

Navigating a garage full of that many paints would be a nightmare. I would actually avoid such a box.

 

Crystal Boxes: BRING THEM BACK!!!

Would be totally useless for the many Generalissimos in the community since they don't have any need for XP.

 

Gideon Box: 1 in every match: Kills all enemy players instantly

 

Why shouldn't I just mult around and wait to catch the box during the entire match, huh? Dropped supplies are there to make fighting easier for you, but you have to actually use your hull and turret for them to be useful. This is just unfair for the enemy team if they have to defend something- if they're holed up in an area with tons of mines and defenders in position, somebody can catch the box and all their hard work goes to waste.

What if there were a hull for every turret?

Wasp: Firebird

Blizzard: Freeze -Blizzard- looks like a snowmobile, unstable like hornet, slips around a lot And this is a meaningful addition to the game because? From what you described, it sounds exactly like Hornet with only cosmetic differences. Heck, it might actually be worse since Hornet isn't actually horribly unstable.

Smith: Hammer -Smith- very flat with central mass, like dictator mixed with viking How would this be different from the other hulls? Each hull in the game is different enough to play differently- tactics that work on one may not work on the other. Something like this would be too similar to the other medium hulls if its stats were right between Dictator and Viking.

Viking: Thunder

Strider: Shaft -Strider- has 4 tracks, like a water stider, very stable Statistics? Viking is stable enough for all intents and purposes during sniping.

Dictator: Twins

Titan: Ricochet

Mammoth: Vulcan

Heck, it might actually be worse since Hornet isn't actually horribly unstable.

 

 

¬_¬ have you actually played with hornet... lmao its the most unstable hull in the game pretty much XD except for maybe hunter but i doubt that.
